yes, Horrible night that never should have happened. Jack still gets blamed for that night there were so many other ppl that contributed to that tragedy.

Rocked away my teens and twenties only to realize that I had to support my family. Occasionally think back to what if but watching these old timers trying to eek out a living I understand working 38 years and retiring on a solid pension, my choice was correct. I’m thankful to have had the experience and not have to move equipment. No one I ever knew made it. So rare..
I opened for GW for two tours. Between 80 to 90 shows total in the early 90s. He was a great singer. Unfortunately GW never really made a ton of money. They always had to tour non-stop for a paycheck. Jack is still paying the bills I guess. Hard to watch him from then to now though.
Jack Russell was a great singer and performer front man i think his back issues have really been hard on him over the years He should team up with Terry Ilous and share the song set terry Ilous was the best replacement in great white and Jack and terry are on good terms !! If if i had the power to book bands on a high level Terry and Jack Russell great white would be what i would make happen terry illous can still work the stage and get the crowd going high energy and Jack Russell could relax a bit more and share the stage and songs
you know, Jack was seriously the best live singer back in the late 80's and early 90's. One of the very few singers who pulled it off better live than on the record. This is just incredibly sad for me to see. I can handle seeing him on a stool because he's physically not in good shape. But I can't listen to him sing.
Why does it have to be drugs and partying - maybe some health issues run in his family - just a thought...I believe his father died at a very young age and not from drugs and alcohol but from Alzheimer's - or something along those lines.
