I've never been opposed to Bobby keeping the band "alive" and quite honestly, their output of original material from "Devil's Canyon" to "Justice" was straight killer. If you don't think Bobby's '90s version of the band was not ferocious, I suggest you check out their performance from the 1996 Rockpalast that can be found here on youtube. That version of the band absolutely smoked and delivered the classics with the highest command. But..... this.... Man, I just don't know. I want to reserve my final judgment until the new album drops. But, so far from what I've seen on line, this version of the band fails the test. It's a shame because Bobby is a great guitarist, and John Galvin rocks the keys. Tim Lindsey has been around the Jacksonville scene since the beginning and played with Dave Hlubek and Beamer provides a solid backbone behind the drum kit. These are highly skilled veteran musicians with a strong history and connection to Molly Hatchet lore, so they should still be shredding. I gotta see this kid live to give it a chance, but I can't say I have the highest hopes. Let's hope the new record is good and we will go from there.

Rocked away my teens and twenties only to realize that I had to support my family. Occasionally think back to what if but watching these old timers trying to eek out a living I understand working 38 years and retiring on a solid pension, my choice was correct. I’m thankful to have had the experience and not have to move equipment. No one I ever knew made it. So rare..

You would think this is a pretty basic hard driver, it's not the chorus is very idiosyncratic, the spelling chant really knocks this one outta the park. The rhythm section in this band is fantastic, really, the bass player and the drummer have ESP and the singer/guitar player is working hard here, outfuc#ingstanding

I opened for GW for two tours. Between 80 to 90 shows total in the early 90s. He was a great singer. Unfortunately GW never really made a ton of money. They always had to tour non-stop for a paycheck. Jack is still paying the bills I guess. Hard to watch him from then to now though.
