This ride is permitted in Germany because it has been checked and tested by the German TÜV according to the new standard. Here, no one can fall out of the business and in the event of self-inflicted injuries, you are liable and not the showman; this is stated as a note in the cash register.
Basically, you die because you are stupid enough to believe the note in the cash register. The kid at the very beginning did not self inflict those injuries to his face, any sane man can see that.
In the US that would be called "The Lawsuit Express" you could put up all the warnings and liability waivers that you want, a lawyer would have a field day with that ride. Sure no one can fall out, but lots of injuries could have occurred as you can see the people sitting down are even getting flung about. Kid in the blue baseball cap looks like he hyperextended his elbow a bit trying to do a handstand too. That said... ride looks pretty damn fun :)
The UK has the Tageda, it tours round the country As a teen I would always be on this, Could stand up in the middle and walk it, The tageda would slow down at a steep angle and shake vigorously Got yeeted from the top and nearly broke my collar bone... They have a ride like this at our state fair, but you most definetly are not allowed to stand up and get in the middle lol. Can't remember for sure but I want to say they strap you to the seat too
hah It wouldn't even be allowed into our country Australia. Our government loves to ban things. If it were up to our government (aka The Fun Police) we'd all be forced to wear crash helmets, bubblewrap, elbow and knee pads just for going for a walk around the block. Kid with black hat backwards ate rail. Kid with a white shirt and blue hat 🧢 hurt his right arm. Both at the end of the video are next to each other. Looks like fun 🎉
Okay but can someone please explain to me the physics of the kids not flying off of the ride when running and jumping like that? My heart skipped a beat each time the one kid leaped
Its simple the centrifugal force from the gyrations of the ride on the arising from their bodys inertia causes a predictable motion by understanding the quantum mechanics of space time continuum, which allows for some cool tricks, or something like that😅
Look closely at how the ride spins and turns. It does so at the right amount of speed and turn that keeps them from flying off although you could still fall off if you push the limits of physics lol
I rode something like this at the New York World's Fair in 1964 - right after eating a whole Belgian waffle with all the trimmings. Needless to say, the rest of the people on the ride were pretty disgusted with me by the time it was over...
so cool. reminds me of gravatron in usa but its closed up. i remember that ride from about 25 years ago. I don't know if its still around. you would get stuck to wall. i would go upside down and do sit ups.
This happened in Italy. A 15-year-old girl has died after she was ejected from a Tagada ride at the Galliate street fair, in the province of Novara, Italy on the evening of March 12. The Tagada consists of a spinning disc where riders sit around the edge and are free to move around as it spins and bounces up and down.
I must have been a similar age to the little one when, having not seen anyone else do it, I decided I would test what happens if I jumped around in the middle. Roll on many years teaching friends the same, until my mid-teens in the 90s when they eventually started stopping the ride as soon as anyone left their seat. Will always be my favorite ride.
I remember going on this with my high school friend at the time and she was drinking alcohol just a few minutes before. Safe to say when she came off the ride she was sick, but i’m so glad it didn’t happen while we were sat next to each other omg
In the UK the closest thing to this would be a Tagada but the general public are not generally allowed to stand up in the middle of the ride whilst in motion due to them have a lot more bounce but there are some showmen who have a worker in the middle :)
@DNBCYPHER They are mental, I've operated them on the funfair, but I wouldn't trust jumping about on it. We have plenty of notices telling people to stay seated, so if they get injured it's on them.
@DNBCYPHER it's the exact same, but the funfair that I help with are very cautious. They don't even allow workers to spin the teacups anymore. Everyone's too soft these days
Das witzige ist auch das man dabei einfach aufstehen kann und durch die Schwerkraft einfach aussieht als wenn man in der Schräglage fast umfällt es gibt ja auch Breakdancer und Shake and rolls

And people rag America for having strict safety standards. So, legally, we can only do missionary?

I think liability risk wise "breakdancer" is the worst attraction. But also the most fun one. lol

It's good to be young. I remember being that age and not knowing what motion sickness was. Now I gotta be careful standing up too fast.
I think that's called iron deficiency (btw this is a joke and I do not mean to be offensive)
I have iron deficiency. If I'm not keep up with my diet and activeness. I get light-headed when standing. No diabetus 🤞

Because of the underage girl in red probably. 😂
