- This time around I'm starting a new playlist for Drawing tutorials. I'll be drawing/sketching a Dagger from scratch and preparing it as a reference for a tattoo or whatever you want to use it for. I'll go through how I approach this in procreate and what I've learnt along the way.
Tattoo artist or not, hopefully some of this will be useful to anyone using Procreate!

Thanks awesome video ❤
No problem 🙌
Really liked this, so helpful! Might convince me to finally transition into working digitally 😅
😂 nothing wrong with non- digital art, I sometimes get the urge to go back to pencil and paper haha.
Another awesome video dude. Super helpful stuff 💯
Cheers dude!
Insane Tutorial, Jason! Love your work! Big hug from Brazil, man. Thanks for your tips.

Thank you, I’m happy I can be of some inspiration.
Thanks for sharing! Following your work for years now and was wondering how you manage to get such a good result on your ipad design! Now i have some good tips! Thanks for this and hope to see more stuff on youtube 🔥🔥
Ah cheers Lauren
This was so helpful!! So inspiring too, wow, gorgeous dagger.
I was wondering what the point of locking the layers is/was?
Just have never used the lock function.
Thank you! It’s mainly so i dont accidentally draw on the wrong layer. The amount of times I’ve drawn the solid lines for the stencil on the same layer as the sketch lines only to realise at the end is insane
Thanks this was great!
Thank you!
i love these videos! very inspirational
Thank you!

thank you! Glad it was helpful!

I’ll add that to the list man, got a few different pieces coming up 🤘 appreciate the kind words man!
What's the background music? It's dope.
M8 u are awesome!
Thanks man, so are you!
Which brush do you use? Those cross hatches look insanely good and traditional paper/pencil as well.
The peppermint on procreate man 🙌
@@jasonjamessmithart thanks & beers
Hello Jason, I have a question. Will this be priced the same as a traditional drawing for a tattoo?
I’m not sure I understand the question?
Very beautiful! What is the name of the paper you are drawing on?
It’s just a random paper texture I found online! If I can find the link, I’ll share it here
can you do vecna
Haha, I will try in the future!
where can I download the bambo chaik, since it does not appear in procreate
Bamboo chalk comes as standard in the sketching folder of brushes, right at the bottom, so it should be there dude!
What did you use for the shading ?
Bonobo chalk (which apparently isn’t in the newer versions of procreate 🤔) and the peppermint brush
@@jasonjamessmithart thank you il give them a go love your work
