    Also the “least desired” stastitic came from a freaking dating site and not the 7 billion people who live in this world. So black women next time someone wants to use that realize IT IS NOT A FACT it’s an opinion 100%

    • @n.5316
      @n.5316 3 ปีที่แล้ว +202

      THANK YOU! THIS is what I keep telling people. That “black women are the least desired” statistic comes from some random dating app with dumb people. It’s an OPINION. Of course, not everyone will want to date a black girl/woman and that’s fine, but we are desired by many. I wish other could see that.

    • @CrystalLovesChrist
      @CrystalLovesChrist 3 ปีที่แล้ว +136

      So so many black women keep ignoring this fact. When I had TikTok, I had went back and forth with an older black lady who kept saying Asian men don’t like black women on a video of Asian men saying they’d date block women. I had to express the fact that China alone has BILLIONS of people, MILLIONS of men. Now think of the rest of the Asian countries and boys/men from the appropriate age range. Then think of the guys who are Asian American or Asian British or anything of the sort. It’s simply illogical to generalize millions of men like that.

      Also, physical desirability isn’t everything. There are WAY more things that make someone attractive besides sexual attraction. Men always tell me that they like talking to me. I’ve been told that my whole life and it makes me feel good, so I don’t care about conventional beauty that will fade. When people repeat that study to trigger insecurity in black women, I just say “I don’t need *every* group of men to desire me since I’ll only date one, anyway.” That usually shuts them up.

      Alot of black girls are ghetto, loud, unnecessarily rude, classless and there tends to be a consistent pattern of jealousy and bitterness in darkskin girls towards other black girls that are prettier than them. It's not that other races don't have these types of ppl but when they do have ppl that act like this its frowned upon whereas in the black community it is encouraged and promoted and with the stereotypes and agendas that are already on black ppl it doesn't help the situation when black girls act like this.

      @@elisejackson2854 Empty compliments and acknowledging the fact that black men are adding to black womens strife is not being an ally. An ally fights beside you! This black man in the comment section needs to get out of this space and take himself over to the mens channels and start checking them for degrading, defaming, subjugating and stereotyping black women so horribly that it effects every BW/girls daily lives. If he does speak up for BW/ girls, then good for him; however, 9 times out of 10 I can guarantee he isn't. I'm not here for BM who are all talk with no action behind his words. That's all they do! I need them to show and prove, and if that makes me an ass then so be it. They are not my kangs and I do not cape for them. All they do is come in to women's spaces to compliment us and call us "Queens" and "Nubian Princesses" but never check these men who are out here talking shit about BW and girls. It's not that other races don't have these types of ppl but when they do have ppl that act like this its frowned upon whereas in the black community it is encouraged and promoted and with the stereotypes and agendas that are already on black ppl it doesn't help the situation when black girls act like this.

    I could care less about those videos. I am a fine ass black girl, living to be great. What I do feel is for other black girls that aren’t like me. There are black girls that aren’t confident, there are black girls that aren’t strong. This is why that strong black woman stereotype faults us. No little 10 year old or teenage 16 year old black girl should hop on an app for entertainment and look at comments calling her slurs and names and being degraded because she’s a black girl. That is what bothers me about these videos.

    Honestly as a young black woman i spend so much time trying to defend my femininity. Constantly getting called a man or people asking me if im ftm (which isn’t an insult!) but i know they say that to try to hurt my feelings and diminish my gender identity. As black woman we deal with being extremely sexualized or, getting stripped of our femininity like serena and venus williams :( its really upsetting but i love this video!!

I feel like growing up I was either hyper masculinized, hyper sexualized, or viewed as mature or older. Idk. It definitely messed with my self worth now as a 16-year-old. You'd have to be to have so many people from literally every corner of everywhere trying to put you down and make you hate yourself. That way they can dim your light and shine brighter. And when I say "believe" I mean that I always thought we were the shit. But now I am positive we are.

    how could we be passed this self hatred phase, when we’re statically the race to have the highest amount of single women, we get told by our OWN, men that we are disgusting, they don’t protect us, we do everything on our own then are called ruthless dehumanizing things for it. personally as a black woman i much rather be with a man of my own color and race because dealing with what we go through is rough, and yes every other race has their own issues but they don’t have OUR issue, nearly every country despises black people, even in black countries they hate themselves, they bleach their skin to look “acceptable and desirable”. it’s a fact that no other race has to deal with being hated on such a large scale by the entire world. indian women are known for dealing with colorism and being hated by their own men but they still have men and just people in general who will be there for them regardless. we don’t have that, it’s tiring and i don’t want to just, toughen up and get passed it i’m tired of being tough, i’m tired of having to build myself up when i see other girls get treated so.. i don’t even know the word to describe it, but i’m not tough, i didn’t choose to be tough i was born into being tough. it’s not fair, and even if i did get with a man of color, i always have the thought of are they really treating me to the best of their ability or are they holding back because i’m a black girl, blck men cherish the love of white women or Latina women so much and black men will use black women then go date a latina, or white women, once something messes up in their new “accepted” relationship they go back to the black women and use her as a back up. i don’t even see myself having kids, or being in a relationship. idc how many “allies” there are on tiktok, af the end of the day most of them call themselves allies to have a good reputation to their name and not be seen as an asshole. most black girls that are loved look nothing like me, i gotta search deep and hard to find any BLACK, everything is black and lightskin, and yes lightskin is black but you know is entirely seen as the new wave of how to have acceptance and privilege, and the black girls who are darkskin or brownskin are only seen as pretty when their noses are mf small like “white women” even though we have our own features and yes we can have small noses nobody believes we can so when they see that they treat them like they’re better, and don’t even see them as a black girl bc they’re too pretty to be one. it’s allll a hot mess and i’m just tired, tired of colorism, tired of thinking i’m going to be alone forever, tired of the disrespect, tired of it all.

    I am a black woman. And I don't react to someone else portraying their insecurities onto me. There are 24 hours in a day and i don't have time to validate myself to someone who didn't create me. It's a self reflection of what they think of themselves. Now if we gonna talk about what I think of myself and my fellow beautiful sisters filled with melanin is "WE ARE BEAUTIFUL QUEENS, WE ARE UNIQUE AND GOD TOOK HIS TIME CREATING OUR BEAUTY. If we did this with any other race of girl/female men and other girls would stand up for them and say it’s not acceptable. So, why is it that black women get to be made fun of and dragged generation after generation. Another point even the wigs, they act like black women/females/girls are the only females who wear wigs and extensions not true. Additionally, natural hair movement is a problem, not showing 4c hair more representation of loose hair textures. Make it seems as though within black race some females are more superior to others. NO OTHER RACE, makes it a point to distinguish themselves from people within their race based on their hair textures. It’s sad it’s 2021.

      Tbh as a black girl who dates outside my race I've learned enough to kind of get why they said black🤷🏾‍♀️.
      And tbh alot of ppl don't find black girls attractive unless they not fully black and have unique features, they're mixed , theyre lightskin etc.

      It's because we look very different from others. We will get treated and regarded poorly until we evolve to look differently genetically. Hard truth. But we are the ones responsible for sexual selection. We can be defiant and dig our heels in, but if we keep giving more of the same in the gene pool, nothing will change only worsen for our girls.

    I agree with everything except ugly people are trolling part. People always assume ugly people are the villains and that's not ok. I've met "beautiful" people who like to put others down to boost themselves even more. It might be true that bitter people are more likely to troll others and being ugly might cause someone to be bitter but that's still a huge generalization imo People don't attach their real identity when they are trolling because they don't want to face real life consequences. That has nothing to do with looks.

    That post in the beginning... Eww...
    Even if they chose different it still would've been terrible, and that post is such an insult to all women. You can't just put races up against each other like that. I still hate how literally 99 of the comment section said black... They wonder why we're so insecure... They wonder why we wanna lighten our skin and straighten our hair(nothing wrong with straighting your hair)
    It be our own kind too but these are the same people who bash us for dating outside our race
    Also ain't none of them look like they're races? I'm not saying you can't be born a certain way while being a different race, but they all looked like they could be mixed. I didn't even realize that was an Asian girl at first. All the girls in the post look closely similar to black women in features

    Donald Dump should've banned TikTok when he had the chance. It's sad how tiktok promotes black women being degraded. Luckily there are black girls making amazing content on tiktok and shout out to divest Twitter for celebrating and honoring the dark skin black woman's image. But unfortunately the algorithm will promote the low self esteem ones. Plus those girls are beautiful. Also black men need to stop disrespecting black women especially dark skin and fat black women. Yall are crazy.
    I did have a low self esteem back in high school and felt ugly but I always saw dark skin girls as beautiful, even when people made fun of me. I hope people stop disrespecting bw and we teach black girls to be confident and black boys to love dark skin women. And black girls in tiktok need to stop making this pity content. Non black people and black men do not care. Let's focus on uplifting each other.

    Self-love and confidence are certainly valuable, empowering traits to cultivate, that’s what the glorious audacity to not give a fuck is rooted in. But it’s hard to develop them in a vacuum, or if everything that is reflected back to you is degrading.
    It’s great you’re sharing how you’ve blocked this toxicity from your life. I just think the take that Black girls expressing hurt over this is just cringey insecurity is not great.
    I mean, I’m 32 years old, I look at these girls as that, girls. Not (supposedly) stable, mature adults. Plus, not all Black girls are diminished and insulted equally. My experience could be (likely was) different than the girls who didn’t have the same infestation (i kid) of Eurocentric traits I do. I’m basically an idiot but I can embarrass the best of them with their own formal language. It was easier for me to develop confidence and ultimately not giving a fuck because even if personally unwanted or unnoticed, society at large sees value in the what they see as distancing me from Blackness, and I get to understand this.
    It makes sense you don’t understand why some Black girls reacted like this. You’re attractive, thin, lighter complexioned. Obviously you like me are still Black, but there is privilege here you haven’t really addressed.
    For girls whose features are more richly African, who don’t code switch, who aren’t thin, etc., society takes pleasure in eroding their worth. That meme is an expression of systems centuries old and generations deep, to feel insecure within a culture in which you literally have less or no security is not a character flaw or personal weakness, it’s simply being awake.
