I literally just discovered your channel. I LOVE your content! You are so down to earth and well spoken and knowledgeable. I have been growing plants for over 40 years. I will definitely be watching your older stuff this weekend because I am home sick!
Hi Stephanie Free Willy was my daughter’s favorite movie as a child too. I also use Bobby pins to pin down vines. I find it to be so much easier than cutting and trying to figure out where to put them in the soil. Great video.
I've never heard of horticultural oil! I'll have to do some research, lol There are SO many products out there for pest control. Which products have you tried and do you prefer the oil?
What an amazing question. I honestly haven’t tried many because 1. Canada doesn’t have as much variety available as other countries and 2. I honestly try to watch my spending when my comes to my plant care. I have only battled spider mites, never mealies or thrips. I used insecticidal soap the longest. I think it’s OK. The spider mites come back soon after. I’ve also used vinegar and water dilution. The results are the same. Neem oil seems sticky and pricey. So not for me. Horticultural oil was a recommendation from @gennasplants. It is by FAR the best I have ever used. The mites haven’t been back and they keep my leaves shiny and without being sticky. Please share your faves. 😆
Finally got to my overdue plants. What plant chore are you delaying the most?
I watched Free Willy with my son, I think over 100 times.

They sure will grow a new string if you put the dolphin in. That's how I got my string of watermelons to be thicker 😊
