The Knife of Never Letting Go was one of my favourite books off 2017 too! I still have about half of the final book left but I adore this series so crazy much, it is definitely going to be an all time favourite for me. xxx

Thanks so much for great recs! Getting ready for my maternity leave so put a bunch of these on hold at the library! I also read Handmaid's this year after watching the show. It was very moving and gripping. I'm into the dystopian with a human element genre too, so these recs were perfect! Thanks Sanne! Lilach

Oh my god Station Eleven is honestly my favourite book that I’ve read in the last five years at least, and it’s definitely in my lifetime top ten! I’m currently in the process of repeatedly lending my copy to different friends to read so I have people to talk to about it!

This was such a wonderful mix of books! Homegoing was also in my Favourite Reads of 2017 video! I also love The Bear and The Nightingale and The Knife of Never Letting Go. I am reading a lot more poetry this year and ‘bone’ sounds perfect, one I’ll definitely get around to! And The Loneliest Girl In The Universe sounds so intriguing! You’re recommendations are always great, thank you😊

I got my boyfriend Station 11 for Christmas after seeing you recommend it (especially for not hardcore dystopian readers) and he started reading it when we went to bed on boxing day and I woke up at like 5:30 in the morning and the light was still on and he'd finished the book. I haven't read it yet but let that be a glowing review (and I think a hit as a present!)

I feel like I am missing books with main characters who are in their 20s/mid20s (partly because I tend to read dystopian, often YA books) but still I can’t find books that represent people my age :( do you have any recommendations?

Hi! I have a question for you. Do you ever do a combo of reading and listening to music? I found that, when reading Hunger Games, listening to M83 at the same time increased my experience by like, 1000x! It was like I was in the forest with Katniss fighting her fight along with her! Do you have recommendations of music for certain books? Thanks!

Station Eleven sounds really good and I want to read it, but I’m super anxious about basically all diseases or anything disease related, so I’m wondering if it’s maybe not the best book for me... I don’t know if it goes into detail about the virus outbreak and pandemic that follows, but if it does, I probably shouldn’t read it.

But I really loved Nightfall, by Isaac Asimov and Robert Silverberg.
I read a lot of Asimov, and this, I must say, is on the top 5 by Asimov.
I also enjoyed re-reading The Swarm, by Frank Schatzing, by the way. Love it.
