  • Trying to save my recent purchase from Trader Joe's. This is a miniature parade rose that has started getting sick. Typically this happens when the plant becomes too rootbound and needs to be repotted. I am praying for the best. I am also using a seedling potting soil with added perlite and maybe some pumice of the drainage is not sufficient. If you have any dieback and need to cut it off, please cut the plant with clean and sterilized shears. I really hope you guys enjoyed the video. If you have any questions or comments, please submit them down below. Don't forget to like and subscribe for more!!! Take care everyone and happy growing.

A lot of plant trader use peat and Coco coir mixed with perlite. People buy the plants, take them home and water them, but soon the plant dies. What the plant needs is to be potted into a larger pot and plant food. A good quality potting mix or multipurpose compost will do you well, plus liquid feed will give the plant quick uptake. Seed starting mix is ok, but it doesn't have any nutrients, so make sure you liquid feed regularly.

I hope you can save yours. Typically when they start to die off it’s almost impossible to bring them back. Let me know how it goes

@@AnimeReviewDDC my wife had like 20 roses half dead. adding them in a way bigger pot, cleaning the roots with water and adding new soil will bring them back. also removing the dead roses too

I got me a red mini rose plant from TJ's. They look so pretty and I want to preserve them as long as possible. Looking at them makes me so happy. I took them out for sun and they did good the 1st day, took them out the next and they started to wilt. So I watered them and put them back inside. I keep them indoor in a cool darker room and they came back to life, weird but still going strong.

If your goal is to leave them outside full time u have to acclimate them into full sun. U can start by putting in a window that gets a lot of sunlight after a few days then take them outside to a partly shaded area then a few days later try to put them in the sun for a few hours for a couple of days then after they should be acclimated and should be able to leave them full sun. Generally miniature roses love the sun however changing their environment constantly/drastically stresses them out ( goes for any plant )

That’s exactly what I did! I’m waiting for positive results! Should I keep it in a cool spot? I’ve moved it several times to see wherever it will survive!

I think U look great with a hat and with ur hair being long. I actually like seeing ur hair. Yet I mostly like what makes u comfortable to do u….a question is just that a question don’t let it get to u.

i'm a new gardener and i got so excited buying some of these little ones and they got like yours in a very short tie...i guess the good thing is to see i'm not the only one..... why would the buds all over sudden droop, do you know ??

I watched another video and they said that in essence they're clippings from another plant. By the time you get them they're looking great but they're really trying to build their roots and the container they come in are not the right size, condition, etc., so your plant starts to go downhill. I dont actually know if that's true bc I'm just starting my research on this. But it sounds possible.

@@thesavviestsaver it makes sense. In the meantime- i had been forgetting i wrote this !!- some have been staying alive, since i discovered roses like water and sun, i give them water each day and have them outside. They haven't bloomed all this time, they have had some yellowing leaves and all 3 have grown new leaves- so i'm hopeful. The man in the store had bought one for his wife and he had put it in the ground, and that would make a big difference probably. i don't have a yard, so i have to stick to pots. i appreciate you answering~ i wish you success~

Doing not so well, I kept it out in the greenhouse and She didn’t like that. I think this rose requires less humidity and cooler conditions. I’m trying to revive her now
