I'm not into the WWF/WWE any more. I have fond memories of Hulk Hogan, Roddy Piper and that gang. We watched them every weekend when I was a teenager and was really into it then. One Halloween my friend and I sneaked out at midnight and took the public bus to Portland to see WWF live. Then I remember my middle school hosted WWF one Saturday night, it was held in our gym, cage match! Good memories.
I agree with you about having the physical copies I too am a huge fan of Wrestling. I have a pretty good collection but still building. Nothing Is better than to have a dvd in my hand instead of everything on the network.
Nice collection! Rise and Fall of ECW is the hands down the greatest wrestling documentary out there besides the AWA and World Class docs! Highly recommend you go back and watch all 3 of them!
I'm a huge mark for AEW!!! I grew up in the 80's and 90's and loved WWF, but nowadays I feel like it is so watered down and just silly and lame I can't get excited anymore. However, I love what they are doing in AEW. They are showing more tag team action. Old school wrasslin. With so many legends working in and around the ring with new talent. It is a lot like Mid-South with storylines that have a chance to develop and a variety of personalities and stars.
Raised on Hot Rod, Hulkster, and Macho Man... The British Bulldogs, The Road Warriors, and The Killer Bees. Saturday Night Main Event. The early Wrestlemanias. Rediscovered WWF/E when Stone Cold and The Rock were big. Been out of it for some time. Fun walk down memory lane.
I haven’t watched raw or smack down in years but read about it the next day, but still watch every pay per view with my friends. So I still know what’s going on.
Dude I love your wrestling collection of dvd & box set.... I'm a old school wrestling fan for years... you made me laugh when u imitate Dusty Rhode voice 🤣 I just die rip could stop myshelf for laughing so hard... I got to restart my wrestling collection again ... keep collecting... Like your wrestling and other videos too... I Love physical media
I would much rather have physical copies of wrestling on all formats over the network any day. However i do think the network is good but physical copies is where it's at and it's way more special to a true fan. Please never stop collecting you're a true inspiration man your such a rad person and a true genuine collector. I love the match hulk hogan vs Andre the Giant, also i love your India jones figure. 🌠 Here soon it will have too be a Thanksgiving special coming up.
The Thing I find Real Strange is that since I live in NewYork..I buy a few Classic WWE Flicks on Bootleg Video including the Best of the STEINER BROTHERS and they show more Matches, interviews,an even more Bonus Behind the Scenes then even the Commercial Videos that WWE Release every Month with Hardly Only 2 hours of Content!!!
Nice video and that's a pretty sweet collection. I’ve always been a passenger for wrestling whether it was playing it as a child on the playground (remember the cartoon), watching it for about a decade with my sister or being an extra $5 for a pay per view events in high school with my friends. Scott Hall was my favourite guy to hate as Razor Ramon and I always liked the Hart family. I don’t think I could go one week in in senior year with someone shouting “Ya Jabroni!”
Razor Ramon/Scott Hall is allegedly one of the greatest minds in the wrestling biz. They say he understands how to work and put together matches like just about nobody else.
I'm not surprised. I still remember Monday Night Raw when he lost to the 1-2-3 kid. We couldn't believe it! When the Kid took the toothpick from behind his ear it was amazing, my sister shouted "That's what you get!".
Another great video and pretty impressive wrestling collection. I've pretty muched stopped buying the PPV releases since the network era began (yeah I know..physical media is where its at!) but i'll pick up missing ones when I spot them at thrift stores. Impressed by your knowledge of the history of the business but I guess there are more "smart" fans out there than ever these days.
I like wrestling and wish I'd grabbed more on DVD along the way. I wish I had more Chikara DVDs. I wish I'd grabbed that Women's Revolution DVD when I last saw it.
nice collection mate, ive missed making mine collection videos not done one in about 2 years hopfully ill get one done soon, not many people put there collections on here now
Wow. Really loved this one Heath. I could feel sister abigails presence. 91-98 WCW is my personal jam. As for Hogan not being a good wrestler...lol. Some people, man...I suppose 'charisma' is a new word for them.
"Sister Abigail's presence!" LOL! And I loooooooooove WCW. I actually love their stuff going all the way back to when they got purchased by Jim Crockett promotions in the early 80s, before Ted Turner owned them. It was Dusty Rhodes, Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Boogie Woogie Man, guys like that. And you're right, 90s, WCW was just fantastic.
That's a sizable collection even for a fan in my opinion. I don't think I'll ever get any of the DVDs or BluRays except the WrestleMania, Hulkamania, Rock and WCW ones. I seriously don't understand why WWE still doesn't just sell each main shows in season sets already. It'd make them a ton of money. I have enough on DVD but if I had official WWE BluRay sets I'd be Stone Cold in the beer isle! Lol.
WWE is definitely at a crossroads with their DVDs. Some of them are going out of print and the demand seems to be really low right now. But if they could market their annual packages with all the PPVs from a given year, I bet they would sell. But then again, if they don't put them out on DVD, they're making people buy the network to see all that stuff, which gives them a much higher profit margin.
@@CerealAtMidnight I think business though like WWE would benefit hugely from pre order by demand products. If they simply give the customer options they would like and if they got at least 5,000 pre-orders they could just make those 5,000+ a couple hundred more if others decide to pre-order later. Then if they see more demand they meet that demand. It's the 21st Century why do studios put more product out hoping they sell all of the product when they could do on demand orders? That and if they want to they can release a small number out for a slightly higher price and make a better profit.
I was a WCW fan because I didn't like the adult feel content WWE/WWF was doing at the time at all. I have always been a family friendly type of person. but I was a huge WWE/WWF fan in the mid 80's to around the time Hogan went to WCW. Then I strictly watched WCW for the reason I mentioned.

Missing the Attitude era?! My goodness! I'm sure you get some BS for that.
But, I bet it gives you a unique perspective on Wrestling overall. Nice collection.
I only missed it when it was live. I’ve been caught up on the attitude era for 15 years, shortly after it all ended. When I came back in 2003, all those guys were still around.
Cereal Midnight, I've been watching wrestling since 1990 Hulkamania era all the way to The Attitude Era all great times in wrestling. I still watch WWE
