We totally love The Buffet. The staff super friendly & the food always fresh and so varied, way beyond the normal buffet experience. I definitely would not wear a hat tho out of respect for this unusual place. Cannot wait to go back.
Rule number 1 never watch Jason’s food videos at 530 in the morning because I am craving salmon and shrimp and crabs and clams thank you Jason lol. Next time your girl comes to New York check out Spa Castle it is a pool and spa open all year long they do have food but this place looks amazing. Nice video Jason,near where I live in Portsmouth in the UK we have a place called the Hong Kong which is a buffet all you can eat,it's amazing,they have Chinese food, Indian food, Italian, burgers, English roast dinner,and lots of desserts, including banana and custard, chocolate fountain, ice-cream,it's very similar to were you ate.😀

I think that's crazy that you would have to pay extra if you don't finish your food. To them it's wasting food but isn't it wasting food if they're just going to throw away the food that nobody is going to eat at that time so they can make room for fresh food?
Jason- good Vlog. The Buffet looks terrific but is not unique, there are a number of similar. You were very honest in telling us you did not have to pay. What is the "tipping" policy" for the wait staff, I did see an oversized "tip jar" at about 6:20. It seemed staged and that in New York is now common, annoying and a turn off. The very best and a Happy Easter and Happy Pesach to all.
Used to be one of the better buffers around, although the qualify of itself has not gone down, but the competition beefed up. Therefore in a sense, it has gone down. I also dislike their pricing. It could be a little cheaper to please the general public； or charge couple of $ more to make it even better. The rolls are generally garbage there.
