Take the word failure out of your vocabulary. It takes 30 days to create a habit. You've made it through every day so far and that's a 100% success rate.👍

Hence why the challenge is 75 days long. Set two new habits and get used to them.

An old Chinese proverb quotes " the journey of a 1000 miles begins with a single step "
Don't be so hard on yourself. No one guaranteed a smooth journey.
Just keep stepping towards the journey.
I just want you to know that you have been such a wonderful influence on me.
I have so much respect for you. Peace and love for you and your family. God bless.

One can't fail. We learn everyday how to better ourselves. We may have obstacles but we can climb above them or find ways around them that better suit our daily struggles.
You and Shiloh are already doing great. You have 2 little ones that adore you.
Enjoy these precious moments. Life moves fast. We need to smell the roses and skip to our hearts delight.
Best wishes to a new year.

AL as others have said, do NOT consider Failure. Positive thoughts. It does not matter that you do 75, only that you make an effort to regain that which is inside you, out of reach for the moment. YOU, not necessarily hard stuff, diet, etc., with do it for YOU. You have a wonderful family, talent and the 'good stuff'. Wish you lived nearby so we could go for refreshments and talk motors and mowing. Do what you like and do best. If yoiu like your job You will never have to work a day in your life!

Kevin is a super sweet guy and he obviously cares about you and the family. And you have all of us that see you everyday day…we care about you too. Remember Jesus is holding your hand and he is waiting for you to ask him to take all your worries and problems you are experiencing…that’s what he does. Love you my brother! God bless you and your sweet family.

I feel like gardenia lady got to you and AP. I hope you forget her. Once you feel healthy and strong I hope you can remember how it feels to help someone else and how much that fills your soul. You have made me cry at various times when you help someone and, lately, thinking of your very own struggles but you and your family have also made me smile and laugh. I hope you have more laughter as the days go on.

A lady described to me someone recommending to her that she make huge changes in her lifestyle, while a full time caregiver for a dying husband. Right now, she is making changes, but they are moderated. Simple things she can do and partial cutbacks on sugars, and "a step up" in foods she eats. She is making pretty good progress but it still feels pretty strenuous to her, with her currently still strenuous life (post husband). It is good to make improvements, but you might halve your exercise times for example, or read 5 minutes instead of 10 minutes. We all agree you are a success for trying but it is o.k. to find an initial gradient(s) you can actually manage.

Al, you are already a success because you actually started the program. Every day you put some effort, no matter how much, into the 75 day hard program you win. You’ll have good days and not so good ones. You only compete against yourself, no one else. It’s all good, really. Do the best you can every day, even if that effort is minimal. Don’t let the negative thoughts in-replace them with positive words. You have a positive impact on people , you do make a difference out here.

Constantly challenging yourself to reach new goals is creating more stress and anxiety. Quiet your thoughts. Get out of your head and be present with your family and friends, work and life. Do what you enjoy doing. Spend quality time with your family. Make time for work, if you can manage it, and eat healthier but not OTT. Everyone here in your community wants you to do well. Don’t listen to any naysayers. You can be your own worst enemy if you do.
Sleep in. Read or don’t read. Eat healthily but treat yourself occasionally. Do nothing, absolutely nothing, sometimes. And the final thing I recommend, turn off your video camera when you aren’t working. You need to give yourself and your family a break from prying eyes. Good luck and I look forward to seeing you mow again. ❤🇦🇺

Hey there Al I read all the comments and replies put a thumbs up on most all of them. Because of all the kindness and love in them. I have ptsd I'm medicated I use sleep as well to keep the hours of each day that I face but I can't sleep all the time there are things I have to do to survive. I have a wonderful loving husband who helps me and makes sure I'm alright. None of these things mean more to me than Jesus Christ. When I was twelve years old I had a friend who wanted me to spend weekends with her she moved to a city not far from me and she started going to Church. She told me that if I was going to spend weekends with her I had to go to church on Sundays I didn't want to I tried everything I could think of to convince her otherwise. Well she was firm and I went to Church. From the first Sunday I insisted on sitting in the back. Every time I went I listened to the Preacher he was good he kept my attention but when it came to the end when the invitation to go to the front and accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour his words were not enough to make me do it . Around the third week I began to realize a feeling inside urging me to do it as time passed the urging got more intense until one day I found myself standing up and walking to the front before I knew it I was on my knees being led in prayer I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour. The next week I was baptised in water. My sins were forgiven I felt it I was happy about it. But I was so stubborn (been that way all my life ) I let the world pull me back before I even thought about it. We graduated I got married no more Church for me. I have always loved to read and fortunately for me throughout my life people gave me books one lady Mrs. Swank who was a stranger I saw everyday riding her bike wearing a wide brim hat my mother and I walked past her everyday and I would smile and say hi to her I was about five years old close to six. One day she slowed to a stop smiling at us and started talking to us she must have been around sixty years old she had a paperback book in her basket and when she asked me what I liked to do I told her I liked to read she asked my mother if she could give me her book mom agreed and Mrs. Swank pulled her pen out and wrote in it ; To Vicki with love from Mrs. Swank the name of the book was Pilgrim's Progress. I still have that book and a picture of her. I'm sixty six years old now I took great care of my books.
I love you and your family and there is more to this story but I have to go to bed so if you don't mind I'll come back to this one video to finish it. GOD bless you and your family talk to you tomorrow ♥️🛐

Oh Al! You really pressure and push yourself hard. Ive made goals but basically ive tried to keep life simple because i dont need more stress. On one hand i admire you and im amazed. On the other hand in worried you pressure yourself hard. You seem fine to me. Its ok to not be perfect. Its ok to have faults. I would never imagine these traits in lawn care guys to be so hard on yourselves. To me you guys (like for example you and Kevin) are terrific guys with hearts of gold. I might expect this pressure from motivational speakers, philosophy majors, high level educators etc. Do you understand my thinking? Maybe you have so much time to think cutting grass. So much id like to say and explain but there is no space. Anyway i wish you the best. I know you will be successful. Im 77 now so i try to be laid back and loving with myself. Was it the great philosopher Bugs Bunny who said i am what i am! 😘

Your children are gorgeous. Good morning to both of you 😊😊 forget the so called self help books. Surround yourself with the love from your family and lose yourself in the day to day comings and goings of the family, relax and enjoy the moments. They will go by so quickly.

Count your blessings instead of failures.
Count your blessings instead of sheep and you'll go to sleep counting your blessings.😊

The only failure is not picking yourself up and trying again. One step at a time, brother, one step at a time. We have your back. Hugs and prayers.

Remember it's not pass or fail it's doing the very best you can. Challenging yourself is great, but it can be like a resolution, it's not life or death it's about your mental health and being happy with the skin your in. Enjoy 😊

Please do not let someone else’s journey dictate your journey. Yours is yours not the books. Your time line may need a slower pace. Give yourself grace and love. Make the book modified to your personal journey and goals. It may work better for you to not make it daily but a goal to your time table

Praying for you. I’ve found that music, declarations and recognition of God’s blessings brings me joy and peace and calms my fears. Please remember that you are fearfully and wonderfully made and God has your back. Blessings to you and your sweet family.
