Al take those eggs out that the chicken has been sitting on and dispose of them. As you said you have no rooster so they will only rot if they're allowed to remain in the nest. Collect them every day so that you can use them, just push her butt out of the way and get them. LOL. Also you might try harvesting your squash earlier when they are no wider than 3 inches across. The longer they are in contact with the ground the more likely the worms will bore into them. They will also be way more tender at this stage instead of being larger and somewhat tuff.
She’s broody. It’s a natural process. You can get her some fertile eggs and get babies. Keep taking eggs away from her. Wear gloves if you have to. She’s a buff she always wants chicks around
Having had a pool with small kids I put a simple chime on the back door leading to the pool. It was a small signal that gave me years of peace of mind and a Ring camera would do a much better job.
Plant Marigold Flowers in your garden the bugs don't like them. You can make a spray from dish soap and water to spray your plants and that helps also. Just a little help.
Yes, you must collect the eggs daily. As long as there is no hens sitting on them, they're all in a form of stasis. There is nothing forming in them until the hen sits down on them. Once she becomes seti is what they call it, then the process begins by collecting eggs daily. You prevent them from becoming steady too early and allow you to collect eggs. Going one or two days apart is not a big deal. As long as there's no hen that's sitting on them. They will stay in a form of stasis until the hen actually sits on them and stays on them. So best cases just make that your daily thing to go out there and get them because the less eggs that are in the nest, the less likely you'll have a steady hand
Love watching how you and Shiloh are raising your kids !! Good job guys !! To stop your hens from getting broody ( sitting on eggs ) you need to take the eggs from them and break the cycle.
My chickens do that too.. I just push them out and get the eggs. I think they call them Broodie chickens. Just keep pushing them out and collect the eggs. As long as the eggs are there, they will keep laying on them 😊 just my opinion … but it seems to work!
@Al next time while the blackstone grill is hot, pour water on while scraping and it it will come clean very easy then oil it down. Apply 7 dust to you plants and it will solve your worm problem
I agree you or anyone riding them should have a helmet. Just protection, just like wearing seat belts. Pool will get better. Well water is hard to control. God Bless you and your family.❤❤❤❤
I will make balls after trip to grocery store. Pool looks inviting! Love your little helper in the kitchen! She’s samples the ingredients to make sure they’re extra good.
Would love the recipe for protein bites or cookie bites you need a rooster or you can just push them out of the way and collect the eggs ,collect them daily worms don't like rough terrain so save your egg shells break them up and place around the base of your plants keeps the worms away and will break down and enrich the soil it's a continuous circle you feed your chickens scraps they give you eggs to feed you and the egg shells help to produce and protect food to feed you your family and your chickens.
💗Thank you, Shiloh, for making a nice grilled chicken stirfry!! 😁So cute, Livvy helping with the treats, and Noah feeding the chickens. 🍪🥬Thank you, Al, for another fun vlog. 🧡
The pool water looks so much better. Get the bathing suits ready. That chicken dinner with all the fresh veggies from your garden looks delicious. Thank you, Al and Shilo. I am enjoying these videos. Love to you all. ❤
😀😀😀😀 so happy to see the family & yummy that food looks delisious that Shiloh cooked. where 's mine ,lol. & Al the pool looks much, much better [ enjoy it when its ready] but watch the kids around it & also , do they know how to SWIM???? I love the video's everyday & look forward to them. see you tomorrow & ""I love you & your family.
More worried mama - balloon pieces are a serious choking hazard that can kill. Please watch those precious kids that they don't put any of those pieces in their mouths.
I enjoy watching you and your family using the different vehi 5:32 cles that u have bought. Not only is it a luxury but very practical also. It's good to see you blessed. It gives me hope also. Love you Al and family.
So glad to see you got a pool guy to teach you how to take care of the pool. You also need to get a long handled net to get leaves out. Also one of those creepy crawly things that move along the bottom to help it stay clean. I'm sure the pool guy will give you a testing kit to check the water. You know what you need? A slide or diving board.. Have fun in the pool
I asked You tuber Lead Farmer 73 "How do you Stop Hens from sitting on their eggs? He replied "I Don't bother my hens anymore. The only true way to stop a Broody Hen is to let her have Chicks. After she has chicks you can have all the eggs you want. It only takes 21 days. I hope you see this and it helps
Collect the eggs everyday. Push them off the nest and get laying mash for them to eat Leaving eggs on nest ruins the eggs and draws snakes to nest. Vegetables! Look great. Worms! Not great. We used tobacco juice(water and tobacco). Fertilizer made with water and cow manure! Your children are so precious. Noah feeding the chickens was so heartwarming.
Hi Al and Shiloh, I really envy your laid back style of living, just seems so much more fun loving life and relaxing with the kids, . Love all the new toys Al.🏊🏽♀️🏊🏽♂️🛺🏍️🏍️😎
Can do different things for different types of worms, 🐛. I planted marigolds with my veggies and that’s helped a lot, also sevins dust. eggshells and coffee grounds are great for a lot of reasons
Hi Al, I was watching a short and this guy was getting his eggs from his chickens, and one was pecking at him the whole time. She didn’t want to give up her eggs. He just reached in and took those eggs right out anyway. So unless you think they will magically hatch, just take them out from under and watch so you don’t get pecked at.
More chicken scratch and some crushed oyster shells also free range a little more might take care of them bugs getting into the garden. Them hens are being broody put a couple of fake eggs in the other nesting boxes so they’ll move around hopefully if not kick them off the nests so they don’t try hatching what they are sitting on.
I love these videos so much. So nice to watch you and your family working hard and playing hard. Noah is so cute wanting to feed the chickens and I loved Livvy's style of helping. I thought she was going to drink all the honey 😂
Put on gloves if you need to and reach in there and get the eggs. Move them or reach under them. Don't let them waste your eggs. We have chickens and we have a rooster, but we still don't let them sit on eggs if we don't want them to.
As an old farmer I will suggest - move the chickens each time you go to collect the eggs. It will encourage the hens to stop roosting. Also, when you clean the surface of that griddle, get it super hot, and pour a bit of boiling water on it. It really steams that griddle clean. The re-season each time you clean it.
Hi Al and family...looks .Ike a fun day at the house...BBQ chicken and rice...veges....feed the chickens....pic the vegetables....ride the bike...make choc.oatmeal balls....yum......relax.....take care...... Deborah 🇨🇦🙏❤️
Hello there AL Bladez. It is always so good to see you. I absolutely loved this video. Seeing your awesome 👍😎 family just melts my heart ❤ and your wife is an amazing cook. Thank you so very much for sharing all of your videos with us. Enjoy your day and take care
Al that golf cart you got is more for driving around streets and beach areas. I think you should get one more for off road because it will have the suspension you need for driving around your house and the rural areas. Pool is looking good. GOD Bless.
hey Al to stop worms or any other pests as well as fungus on any of your garden plants get some Neem Oil and spray on the leaves of the plant on the squash and on the ground around the plant once or twice a week. Its all natural and repels bugs as well as kills any fungus that might try to attack the plant itself.
Love your daily blogs with your lovely family life and your gorgeous house keep them coming iam from England and I love your videos following your garden clearing and your family life god bless you Al ❤.
I just love how you all, as a family, do things together. Like allowing the kids to make a mess popping the balloons, that was awesome!! Livvy is going to remember those things one day, but so will Noah. So what if it makes a mess, it can always be cleaned up. These are memories in the making and they will cherish that even more. The pool is coming along greatly, it's looking so much better. And by the way, it's a gorgeous pool for sure. As for the chickens, I agree with some of the others, you just have to push her or move her away and take them. If you're scared of her, just wear a good pair of gloves, that will help a lot. Anyway, I am enjoying all of your vlogs on the daily. Have a wonderful day and we will see you soon. God Bless you all!
Al seems to have upgraded that golf cart ALOT!!! Check out those tires just for starters. And something tells me that the suspension got an upgrade as well!!! Might as well be an ATV but the seating in the golf cart will accommodate the whole family. ❤

Haven't heard from you Al. I know theres Alot of rain there. I pray you and family are ok ????? Have no other way to ssk. Praying for ya'll. Much love and prayers 🕊🙏🕊💗
As long as the chickens are broody, they will not lay. Fix up some cold water and set them in it. Keep them in until their bottoms are cool. You may have to do this a few times or you could set up a dog crate and put them in it without any bedding... just food and water. This too could take some time.
Common in Hawaii to see fruits covered by cloth to protect it from bugs & birds. My mother in-law used to sew pillow case-like fruit covers that she could tie at the stem with an open bottom to allow the fruit to grow.
Life in the country looks to me like a wonderful life. Cooking on a Blackstone grill, does it taste as good as a gas grill? I've never really lived in a nice country setting. I think your green water in your pool looks kind of nice. When's the pool party?
Al and Shiloh, it is a wonderful thing to see, the family closeness! Both kids are so precious, they look and act like you Shiloh. The putting together ingredients for cookies was so blessed. It brought back memories of my daughter (she's 46 now), and her oldest child (she's now 21) would get it all over her! 😂 . I thank both of you for giving an old Grandad the opportunity to observe and laugh at the wonderful world of the "Bladez Family adventures". God bless you all.🙏♥️🙏😎😂

I don't know if you've ever tried it but cut up your zucchini and squash in bite size and cut up red onion season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, saute all in a fry pan in olive oil, its so good and healthy the way you did it on the grill is good but when your not grilling. I agree with the other comments. Take those eggs out. Those hens will keep lying on them. I also agree about diatomaceous earth. By the way, your face looks fuller (not because of your beard). Your color looks good, too. Love these vlogs.
Plant garlic in your garden. Get a rooster he keeps hens in line. Take the eggs or you will have baby chick's and you will have to have a Bruder to keep them warm
Mama Bear concern. Please wear a helmet. It only takes one tumble to cause Traumatic Brain Injury or paralysis.
Al take those eggs out that the chicken has been sitting on and dispose of them. As you said you have no rooster so they will only rot if they're allowed to remain in the nest. Just take the eggs. What's the issue!!
Great advice, took the words right out of my mouth, take rhem every day!!!
Diatomaceous earth will help keep pests away from veggie plants. “Food grade!”
Definitely the perfect thing to do!
She’s broody. It’s a natural process. You can get her some fertile eggs and get babies. Keep taking eggs away from her. Wear gloves if you have to.

I would put up a fence exactly the way Al has done it. He’s a thinking man and his kids mean the world to him. Al will always put safety first.
Plant Marigold Flowers in your garden the bugs don't like them. You can make a spray from dish soap and water to spray your plants and that helps also. Just a little help.
Best way to fix a habitual sitter is ... extra crispy! 🤣 BTW love to listen to Noah talk! I can finally understand what he is saying! 🥰
😂
The dinner looks so good. Thanks Al for sharing your family with us.

😂😂 Livy was ready for the honey 🍯 😅. Shiloh in the kitchen and grill today 😊.
Really like watching ya'll cook. Everything always looks delicious!
Just remember that is a golf cart not an atv
I was thinking the same when they were off roading. Won’t last long that way
They need a quad.
When I saw this yesterday, I was thinking the same thing “they need a quad”.
Al seems to have upgraded that golf cart ALOT!!! Check out those tires just for starters. And something tells me that the suspension got an upgrade as well!!! Might as well be an ATV but the seating in the golf cart will accommodate the whole family. ❤
Hi Al and family, if you have fruit fly you need to use fine mesh on a frame that covers the crop, if not you'll need to identify the culprit and deal with them in whatever way is recommended, as for the hens take the advice of farmgirl or krista davies, I love the dynamics of your family cheers!!!🥰💕👍👍👍🙏
❤your family. Blessings over you all.
I hope all is well and the kids' are looking forward to their next year in school.
Looking good 👍

Life in the country looks to me like a wonderful life. Cooking on a Blackstone grill, does it taste as good as a gas grill? I've never really lived in a nice country setting. I think your green water in your pool looks kind of nice. When's the pool party?
Beautiful children guys
Al and Shiloh, it is a wonderful thing to see, the family closeness! Both kids are so precious, they look and act like you Shiloh. The putting together ingredients for cookies was so blessed. It brought back memories of my daughter (she's 46 now), and her oldest child (she's now 21) would get it all over her! 😂 . I thank both of you for giving an old Grandad the opportunity to observe and laugh at the wonderful world of the "Bladez Family adventures". God bless you all.🙏♥️🙏😎😂
Enjoy good to see Olivia wanting to help
Great video tell family hi. And hope all is well my friend
Your chickens are broody. You can take the eggs out from under the chickens, they won't hurt you, they might peck a little. Test the eggs you take out to determine if they are edible. To test, fill a tall wide glass, like a wide mouth mason jar, about 3/4 full of water. Carefully drop the egg in the water. If it floats it's bad. If it sinks it's good. Do them one at a time to test. Take the eggs from under the broody chickens each day. You can get some ceramic or cedar eggs to put in their place if you're concerned about their temperament. They will eventually come out of their broodiness. Good luck!
There is a natural gardening show called Self Sufficient Me on utube. He has great ideas for natural gardening. To deter bugs I use a garlic and water spray, to get rid of aphids I use soapy water (environmental safe dish liquid) in a hand held spray bottle. When your plants get yellow leaves before their end time, use vitamin and mineral supplement powder to boost their production. Companion Planting is a great way to keep bugs away and improve produce production too. Take the eggs every day, don't let the bossy chicken bluff you, you can give the chickens vitamin sups to keep them healthy through the heat of summer too. Happy gardening. 😊
👍👍👍
Im going to make that dinner this week. Looks delicious
Shiloh you are the fastest cook in the North, west, east, and south
you can also plant oregano around your squash to deter worms
I don't know if you've ever tried it but cut up your zucchini and squash in bite size and cut up red onion season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, saute all in a fry pan in olive oil, its so good and healthy the way you did it on the grill is good but when your not grilling. I was just thinking that with fresh water why would it be so green?? Put egg shells around your plants to keep worms at bay.
That was a close one with the honey! Lol
Have fun in that pool always care take it easy if you have to.
Spray with neem oil. Cover the soil and plants before they produce fruit. Do not spray the fruit.
While your grill is hot..Chilean with a Sprite Zero...works like magic !!
You know how to play with your toys 🚴♂️🚜
👏👏👏
Unless you are ok with chemicals, you will have worms and bugs in your veggies. They won’t hurt you, just trim the parts that they have chewed on. We have a broody duck sitting on infertile chicken eggs. I have to lift her and grab those eggs fast before she bites me too hard, lol.
You need to gather eggs everyday. Thats just a given.
