Looks cool but a big engine with what seems like a small tank is a mismatch to me. Like having that small tank on the 114 Street Bob, IMO, is practically frustrating.
I like it except for one thing...that chain. After owning a chain drive many years back, and then two shaft drives and a belt drive, I am spoiled. Other than that, I like it.
Thanks Alf . Like you I don't like the tank at all. But overall it's a decent buy at the price. Honestly hope they sell a heap because HD need a wake up and get out of their arrogant mindset.
Ticks a lot of Boxes, with still a few drawbacks which have still to be addressed. 2025 at least gives you charging port on the dash unlike 2024, but still a small tank range for a T model, luggage capacity still on the small side Screen need to be larger for the T. However after market can fix a lot of these OEM quirks for sub £11K a lot of motorcycle in comparison with many others.
I totally agree that the look of the fuel tank and the transition from the seat is goofy. I sat on one and thought it was too cramped for my 6'1" frame. I would still like to give it a test ride.
I'm 6'2" and I looked like a clown riding the 24 version. So much that I traded it in. It was such a nice bike that I did regret it. Maybe with the slightly new dimensions of the 25, I might give it a go!
The visual design of the Rebel line leaves me whelmed, although that "Africa Twin" motor is a good 'un. Are you planning on riding one (any iteration)?
Honda uses this engine in three quite different bikes, an ADV, a sports tourer and a cruiser, three types of motorcycles where a shaft drive would make a lot of sense, so why on earth has Honda given it a lousy chain? Not good enough, Honda.
I’ve always felt like Honda was trying to emulate the look and lines of a frisco style chopper / sportster with this design. But it doesn’t have the same rawness or artistic flair that many of those bikes possess. Kind of a miss from a style perspective.
Honda we’ll say no more they are all great bikes can’t compare against a Harley I don’t think there in a class of there own but Honda have always in my eyes been the cream of the Japanese for fit and finish but I do think the other Japanese have caught them up of late I wouldn’t hesitate in buying any Japanese bike before anything else if I was in the market
I owned one for 3 years, hated it as well but im curious now for the 2025 model. Its a bike that i like coz of its body line but its so bad in ergonomics and comfort. It seems honda did work on that and made it more comfortable
I see comments like this, and obviously beauty is in the eye of the beholder.. But if you look at the FEMA recall list for manufacturers Harley BMW, KTM are always top of the list..
The CMX1100 is bullet-proof!
A great buy. I owned the CMX500. Loved the bike. This special edition should hit the market running quite well.
marcus

My wife has a 1100 DCT.. Fantastic bike.

Belt drive and a bigger tank would be much nicer

I would consider the DCT version if I fit on it with my 6ft4 and 36" inseam. My hopes are not high.
Na dude dct sucks dont even bother
@gsin311 i love dct, had it on my 2016 750x and it's the best!

Reviewed one on my channel. Hated it, only bike I actively disliked

Honda bikes these days suck. They dont inspire me to buy one at all.
The ugliest bike on the market. I don't care how good it is, I couldn't face opening my garage door knowing that thing was lurking in there.
No doubt its a good bike just ugly
HONDA,NO thanks!!
Honda do not have good build quality. Very reliable. But not good build quality.
