That’s a nice way to wire it! I am more than likely going to buy this same kit! But I am wondering if I would be able to wire it to the dome lights, so when the dome lights comes on when you unlock the car or turn on the dome lights when you are inside the car, the LED comes on for the handles. Would it be as simple as tapping into the dome lights? Can’t find a fuse in the fuse box to tap in to that would control the dome light. I drive a 19 Subaru WRX STI.
Yeah I believe you could just tape into the dome light. Another way of wiring it would be how people wore the JDM puddle lights in. It taps into somewhere under the steering column. But you'd have to see if that is what you want
Its still solid, no complaints so far. Pros is it has no limitations like COBB. Cons is you need a laptop connected to your car to be able to monitor the car. Also i was getting a CEL that could not be removed with the EVAP delete. It can potentially be modded to remove the CEL.
I was actaully testing this out the other day. The way I have it wired it has no change in light level when adjusting it. Its either on or off. Maybe wiring them up a different way would result in this happening?
Hey I know this is an old topic on a video from a year ago but my 2013 wrx threw a p2443 code for "secondary air injection switching valve stuck closed bank 2". Luckily that wasn't the switching valve with the barometric pressure sensor in it but I had one question. Since I can't really get to the other switching valve right now and I need my car drivable pretty soon, would I be able to put a block off plate where I took the drivers side valve out and keep the passenger side in, almost like a half delete? I wonder what kind of issues that would give me. I know it'll throw a ton of codes, but my car bogs below idle when I rev it and shuts off every time I come to a stop because of this failing drivers side valve. Let me know what you think, thanks!
Hmm, thats a good question. Unfortunately i dont have a straight answer for it. You might be able to get away with it IF you are able to remove the faulty valve and plug up the hole it ran too. Might be tricky to do and i know installing the passenger side block off plate is a big job on its own. But its might be worth a try. If you attempt it and you already fairly deep into removing parts i would consider going full send and installing the passenger side block off plate aswell. Like you said you will get codes but you can get them deleted by a tuner.
@@zach_lush I’d love to do the passenger side right now but it’s more of a time thing. One I start removing the downpipe, turbo and Intake manifold then I’m set back maybe a day with everything I got going on. It’s my daily (big mistake) so I was curious as to if it would be drivable with only one of the valves still remaining. Guess I’ll start it up and find out the old fashion way, thanks man!
@@randomgames221 i get it, having these cars as a daily can be difficult at times.. Wish i could give you a clearer answer but im not even too sure what the outcome will be. But either way good luck and i hope it works out for you!
Dude your videos are amazing. Keep it up man I hope your channel grows to that 5k.
Appreciate the support!

😊please make the side mirrors folding. (SMY)
This is something else I've been wanting to do for awhile now! Unfortunately not in the budget right now, but hopefully in the near future! :)
How is the open source tune holding up... pros cons?

Do the intensity of the lights get adjusted with the dimmer control for the dash/backlighting?

@@zach_lush maybe if you run the main wire to the rheostat on the panel by your left knee ?
@@MooseNY potentially, all depends on how it's wired.
