    Is this really innovation or just marketing hype? Nike make shoes out of plastic because its cheap. Wool is expensive because it's a natural material. If wool prices have increased 30% in 2017 because of some hype imagine if the shoes really became mainstream. More demand for wool = more sheep = more land clearing for the sheep to graze = more c02 emissions. Its a nice shoe but I don't see this as environmentally friendly.

    • @tedward191
      @tedward191 6 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      I think they're more comfortable and I have both and yes you can buy 2 pair of allbirds for the same price of 1 ultraboosts

      I also have both. I wouldn't recommend the All Birds for running, even if they have a line called "Wool Runners" and "Tree Runners" but I think they're more comfortable. Put it this way: I went to Disney for a week with my gf, 8+ hours in the parks for 5 days. I brought 2 pairs of ultra boosts and one pair of the Tree Skippers. I wore the boost day 1, wore my Tree Skippers the other 6. It's the perfect walking shoe. If you're doing exercise, I think Ultra Boosts are the way to go without a doubt.

      Absolutely not, not even close. It's ridiculous people even compare them. Saving money on shoes is simply not worth given up comfort.

    I love the design of these cause I am a designer my self, but those shoes are not made for rainy weather like Wellington. I kept falling over, again and again.

    How can I get a pair if I live in Germany?
    I have been looking at simplistic shoes for a long time now and not really have found any. The guy summarized it for me, I’m looking for something without a brand, stylish and with a simple design. I can see how many people like nike’s new designs but they just don’t speak to me... personally it’s too much going on for me which also makes it difficult to combinate them with my wear. My shoes should stand out but shouldn’t be the highlight of my outfit is what I feel like.
    You won’t believe how long I went around in shoe stores to find anything like what I see here.
    Man if I could just get my hand on the standard pair, that would be amazing

      Have you tried Clarks Desert Boots or any Chelsea Boots? They look great with most outfits and have a simple disign without any flashy logos. Same goes for Dr. Martens boots
