My first approach with the series was Super Turrican. But after playing the original 2 and Mega on the Turrican Flashback Collection, I can say for certain it's the second weakest of the series (only above Super Turrican 2, which was kinda disappointing to me... not a bad game but too short and it also had that "incomplete" feel ST1 had). I wish they continue the series or more games use the Turrican formula, like that game released for Neo Geo, Dreamcast and PS4, forgot its name.
Those 3D games looked sick, especially the second one... Imagine that game wasn't cancelled! Not many game series that started as 2D have the privilege of saying they had a smooth transition to 3D, and Turrican could've been one of them!
The C64 version of the first Turrican is missing.
This is the very original version of the game, the Amiga version is a port.
