It sounds amazing for a solid-state amp. Probably better than most tube amps for twice the price! Laney has been absolutely killing it lately. The Supergroup amps are just amazing, as are the Digbeth bass amps. These Loudpedal-pedals also seem to be knocking it out of the park in terms of tone and and versatility. Can't wait for someone to compare the Ironheart Foundry pedal with the new BCC Ironheart pedal.
I'm an admirer of Tom Quayle and obviously you too, and I use an old Laney Lv 100. I confess that I liked his demo more, because Tom Quayle's video is incredible, but to my ears it sounds extremely processed by plug-ins in his guitar signal . His video sounds more natural. Thank you for demonstrating this product, success always!!!
Jack's playing is pretty awesome. He shreds, but it's so melodic and fun, it never gets tiresome. That little lick/progression at 9:10 is really cool. Almost folk sounding.
Yeah it sounds frigging wonderful, even via youtube too here, I'm checking it out when it arrives to my area. Great demo, sweet playing mate, showed it can do the lot with ease...thanks!
Would it work if you connect it to a cabinet through the loudspeaker output and also use the LAIR cabinets and connect it to front of house so ot would sound like you had two cabinets?
Great Demo Jack. Can you comment on how much volume you get from a real cabinet on channel 1 running clean. Is it loud enough to keep up with a full band ? (Classic Rock styles)
I don''t think they did; It's on the left-hand side of the unit, rather than the back. According to the specs on Laney's site, it's has 6.3mm FX send and return, with the send also acting as a non-emulated line out.
I don’t take anything away from these guys who’ve built up an extreme level of technical ability….all the power to them. This guy obviously put in his time. But, guys like him have also cornered themselves into a hole to where they literally can’t play anything else. It’s like they’ll go into convulsions if they’re lowered to play a chord or a riff, irregardless if two decades and tens of millions of albums were dominated by that style. This is an all out epidemic on TH-cam these days. It tells you very little about this pedal, because that style of playing can sound good with a TS9 via anything with an input jack, as well.
My thing is, when I watch a gear demo I want to hear what the gear can do and sound like for the average player. Not interested in technical show off stuff.
I agree with your point..as well as understand the way gear is marketed in the TH-cam age as we can’t go to a store (very few anyway). (Jack you are a fantastic player as well as have the best narrator voice of all the demo guys I watch) Luckily we have these types of amp-in-a-pedal gizmos (I have a few) to choose from..but yes..a practical application (like at a gig) would be more helpful..I am a full time gigging player and you can watch a million videos but until ANY gear is in your hands with YOUR style this is just a basic primer of the features..either way we all benefit🤟
@@odditeemusic6016 Well said….in hindsight, I came off as far more of an intolerant d**k than this situation warranted, not in my nature, typically. TH-cam seems to have turned into a Guitar Center on a Saturday afternoon. So much time has been wasted on demo’s that do VERY little justice for these products that my patience was at an end, when I wrote that. The guy’s a phenomenal player…..nothing against his playing (or him). But, when you want to hear an amp’s gain structure which in high-gain scenarios is incredibly important, and all you get is a sea of chugging or “clinics” it get’s really frustrating. That Ola guy (if that’s his name) got it right with his “Will it chug” channel. I know what to expect, and don’t have to sit through an entire video looking for a certain style. Anyway, I don’t wish this player/channel any ill will. Just hope he devotes a little time to that style in the future. 👍
@@phillamoore157 I get the frustration..there are so many things to be positive about and just create but the unleashing of the naysayers, dungeon dwellers and all-around life haters through the “magic” of social media (supposed to bring us all together right?) makes it much harder to keep a grasp on the every day lust for gear. I just do my own thing and if I move one person in an emotional way (regardless of the gear I use) then I have done my good deed for the day just like most..of the good demo players on this Tube thingy..slightly off topic but that is the crux of the biscuit!
Incredible playing as always dude. Thanks so much for this demo. Love ya!
I like that this thing seems easy to use. No endless complicated menus and knobs.

The sound and playing from 18:35 onwards is really outstanding ❤

it's one of his songs called SkyBluePink, cool song too.
@@bayhakansimsek thanks!
Fantastic demo Jack, and stunning playing as always.
Absolutely brilliant
That intro was amazing. Very cool arrangement.😊
Jack, your demos are always so complete, thanks Cheers!
Can you please compare it with the older Laney Ironheart Foundry Loudpedal
Man I love your playing.
Awesome, I love your playing. Beautiful.
You play very tasty chords 🎉
Can we get the lesson/tabs on the opening track, please.

The boost sounds reallty nice. Seems better than the one on the IRT.
Really like how the pedal looks, but tonewise more like into the martin miller ironheart
I believe there will be combo versions as well but without usb or midi

which IR are you using?
Dadrock? It sounded like Tim Henson lol. And, it was freaking amazing!
You should do the new Laney Lionheart Foundry series amplifiers.
Can this get into HIWATT Dr-103 territory?
Jack! What Reverb and Delay did you switch to at the 15:50 ish mark of the video? Please?
Will Ibanez create a 24 fret HSS for you so we can buy it already?
What pick do you use for playing?
Sounds awesome - cannot find any prices online for this unit.
Best to check local listings but $499.99 if you're in the USA (at the time of writing this response)
Where are you looking?
@@rogerwilliams7234 : I am from germany
If it comes with the Laney branded usb cable.. then I’m on board.
Great !

please capture for Quad Cortex

I don't know if I'm watching the video for the product of for the music you play 😅

£399.99 UK $499.99 USA
You’re literally on the Internet now…smh
Where ?
Why the hell did they take out the effects loop????

@@balzacalexander ok I see it now.
are those IRs different technologically than any regular ones? what is LAIR?
Standard IR’s I believe, but with a digital EQ added after. The LAIR thing is just the name of the IR loaded / editor software
feels like deceptive BS
❤❤😂😂😂 mantapp brooo
Superb playing, man those Cab tones make the solo sit too far back in the mix.
RoCKIN 😍🖤💢💤

Reverb with switch is useless.. more usable with delay
