I really love the paper Paul Ruben uses, it's like an amalgamation of hot and cold press watercolour paper. I definitely prefer sketchbooks to loose sheets of paper since it's easier to keep organized.

Just found your review. I bought one of these smaller watercolour journals off amazon , in fact I bought the thing twice, as the first came with black glue tape or something right around the pages, and they were all stuck together. I sent that back and bought another to get just the same thing sent again, arghhhhh was so looking forward to seeing white edges instead of black! Another going to be sent back to Amazon by a very disappointed customer.

I just got a bit surprised cuz its looks like almost my small watercolor but its a diffrerent product mine is potentate and it has 24 pages i got it from Shopee ( Philippines app ) i just got it for PHP 217 the sketchbook is like 100+ maybe and the shipping is maybe costs like 100+ too :)
