i love your videos so much! the music, your voice, all your helpful tips, watching you paint and your process, and the final piece!!!!! i love your channel so much! thanks for taking the time to share your process with us. YOU ROCK!!!!!
Ahhhh!! I have been left speechless!! This by far has to be one of my favorites from your paintings . Your art just keeps getting better and better!! You deserve to be known world wide, the lighting the texture the realism is perfection 🤩👏💖💖👏
Thank you so much for painting me and for your kind words in my regards🥺 knowing you fell in love with my picture means so much to me you have no idea! You are very talented💕
I started watching you a while back, maybe a year ago or even more and i have to say you've made SUCH a progress regarding the way you film(perspectives), convey a nice atmoshphere, voiceover and edit etc. Your videos and art have always been really high quality but with this video i really realized how relaxing and satisfying it is and how your videostyle has developed Ps: im really obsessed with the way you use watercolour/gouache
i love the palette you used, it contrasted really well with the highlight created by the sunlight hitting her face and it really draw the attention of the viewers to the face!! it's so mesmerizing that i want to keep looking at it for hours. thank you for making this piece!
Amazing work as always! ❤️❤️I also always admire how you paint the backgrounds in a way that seems so detailed despite being the opposite of that! I learn a lot from you! 🥰👌
HI!! From the Philippines too!! I really admire your art and your work!! I hope you do more watercolor and also, if I could request, could you make more watercolor portrait tutorials?? like with the mixing of colors cause I have a hard time with that specifically and I'd love to learn from you
Beautiful as always! Have you ever used Saral paper for tracing? I love it. It's erasable, and since you're putting your art over it I feel its easier for me to trace. Comes in multiple colors as well as white and graphite. Its always wonderful watching you paint. So soothing and inspiring.
I really like your art and the way you talk about the drawings it's awesome and I want to try so, I want to ask you what kind of gouache you are using plz?
Which brand sketchbook please give me the name or share the link 🙏🙏🙏😭😭😭okay I just saw the link sorry to bother should’ve watch the full video first lol🤣
It turned out great but you shouldn't use IMHO gouache for the details. When you added the gouache the portrait lost its softness. You went for a very high contrast that made the portrait from very realistic to something more illustrative. But if your aim was to make a portrait illustration you should have used just gouache. it is very tricky to combine these two mediums together because watercolours give very realistic results due to their transparency ( they give depth of colour) while gouache (and poster colours) are opaque and give flatter results.
Honey, a lot of pro artists trace. The old masters traced. The artist from this video got explicit permission to paint the subject anyways. As long as she’s not tracing someone else’s art that she doesn’t have permission to (which she didn’t), who cares? Plus, yeah, it was her own sketch from the reference. Not directly tracing the reference, which is also completely allowed and the old masters did all the time.
tracing helps people learn!! There's nothing wrong with it at all. Even professionals use it, and even if art is traced, it doesn't make the person any less of an artist!! I hope you know that :))
The light hitting her face feels so real... i'm just drawn right into this picture, you did an amazing job!

Thank you so much, Hannah! I'm so glad you like them!!
I like that you painted it very stylized and added your imagination and additional colors instead of painting it accurately as it is on the picture.

Wow beautiful! I notice that once the watercolor dries it becomes lighter, is this a natural characteristic for this medium?
Hi Najah! Yes, it does dry lighter but it's not as bad as with gouache.
Beautiful

Temprano 😼🛐
Why sketch in red tho?
One question: how
Can you put all your videos into an Arabic language?

I almost gave you a like, but then you admitted to tracing.
I traced over my own digital sketch but thank you for the almost like anyway 💕
