I just wish Samsung would catch up with Chinese brands and start using new battery tech like silicon carbon batteries. And also new larger sensors for the cameras and faster charging speeds
Samsunga cameras are still compete with the Chinese brands. It all comes down with software processes not really how good the hardware is. Hence that's what the Pixel A series wins mkbhd blind camera test the past few years. I just wish Samsung would upgrade its ram to at least 16gb and charging speeds
I'd like to see a face Id that actually works regularly, decent sounding speakers instead of the tinny s24u speakers, haptics on par with pixel, camera on par with pixel, much faster battery charging and 144+ hz 3000+nit screen, then you can call it an ultra and justify the ridiculous price!
Listen to me I don't understand this obsession with making phones thinner and thinner and thinner then we act so damn surprised when they bend I'd much prefer a 6000 mAh battery
@manuelpiston 😑 No, not really. The corners on the s23 and s24 are much more pronounced. Like I said, the S25 ultra is shaped like a Moto G Stylus 24. I'm also highly aware that you can only do so much with a slab style phone, that's why I own a flip phone.
I first got a Galaxy Note and wasn't sure how much I would use a stylus. I'm now holding onto the Note20 ultra and use the stylus several times a day. Most useful is taking a photo, then drawing notes over it. Saves so much time and easy to do. Second is quick notes and sketches.
Note 20 for me too, got it cheap 1 yr after release. Thought of getting the s24 refurbished (for cheapish) but it's hard to justify when the Note 20 is this good
It speaks volumes about the Oneplus open when it is mentioned ( even as a side note) while discussing the latest and future foldable tech. Congratulations on the endeavor!!
I wouldn't mind a powered pen, though it would need to fit into the phone for charging. Not sure how realistic this would be with design language getting thinner and thinner.
Legendary Jaime Rivera! Following your work since 2013, and i enjoy every update you give us. It feels amazing to see you in your own channel. Looking forward to meeting you in person as i am also a tech enthusiast and shares the same thing in my local community in Bangladesh.
I like the idea of a Fold with a stylus. When the phone was new, I tried it and liked it, but after a bit, the stylus ended up sitting unused on my desk. So, No, it's not a factor in choosing my next phone.
@JaimeRiveraTech yes, and just wanted to let you know, that I grew up watching you on pocketnow from my teenage. I can say that I have watched almost all of your videos and daily-s. Love your content and your speaking fluency. Thanks for the awesome content and in depth reviews. Good luck with your new channel. 😇
Stylus used to be a big factor for me, but it has waned thru the years. Love my Fold and would like to see a larger size, thinner device. A case which would house the pen would be fine especially if it means it would work on the outer display (that is one thing I miss about the Fold which I loved about the Notes - take pen out, scribble on locked screen, done). We shall see what Sammy will do. Glad to see you on your own. Just subscribed and look forward to seeing what the future brings for this channel.
We did those for years, and the effect is actually not positive for videos bellow 10mins. It’s a win win. I create a video you don’t have to pay for, and you support my work by watching it 🤷🏻♂️
Ahhh back to straight up tech talk, I like the way you bounced from pocket now, can clearly see these reviews are coming directly from you no holds barred 😎
Awesome video!! I am pretty excited for the Galaxy S25 line up, an upgrade from my S21, but I will stay with the base model when it comes out in January or wait for the S25 FE.
I use the S Pen on my Galaxy Tab a decent amount. Having switched from an iPad Pro, I'll be honest, the S Pen does feel a bit worse in my opinion but it still works great and does everything I need it to. Its super useful for jotting notes down at work or just sketching random crap when I'm bored. Also, glad to see you on you're own channel now! Like many others in the comments, I started watching your Pocket Now Daily videos almost 10 years ago and the videos have been a part of my schedule for a while so I thank you and your team for all your hard work!
@JaimeRiveraTech if he using something like tab s9fe that explains why his experience is worse than ipad but if its tab s9 series then idk why for me personally its way much better than ipad pros I got s9 ultra and its wonderful with s pen
@@OleksiiK21 I've got the Galaxy Tab S9+. In fairness to the Galaxy Tab, I'd been using my iPad Pro for 4 years so I assume it'll just take time to adjust. The S-Pen experience is not bad, just different than I'm used to with the Apple Pencil and I'm still just adjusting to it.
I am actually sad about the curved corners; I liked the square shape and the unique Note lock. It was the only phone with that, and now it's gone. I have used Samsung phones since the Note 1 to the Note 3, and now I have the S24 Ultra. I don't think I am going to upgrade for four or five years.
I thought the active pen on my LGV60 was great! One thing I miss is the ability to create animated writing gifs and no one else has that feature. I myself, also recently got the Oppo pen for my OnePlus Open! I'm getting used to writing with it. It's pretty good at recognising text. I'm glad I found this channel. I was going into PND withdrawal!
@@JaimeRiveraTech It's pen support was really good. Now I'm trying to find an OppoPen integrated OnePlus Open case or a decent way of attaching the pen without losing this $100+ investment
I wonder if the S25 Slim will have room for an S-Pen, or even a big enough battery to be on par with this year's S24 Ultra? Or even if it's trying to be that in a slimmer package Im sorry I'm just VERY intrigued with the idea of the S25 Slim. Thin form factors just seem so futuristic to me!
Obviously we don't know at all, but for some reason, I have an odd feeling the new SD Elite could be a little problematic. I think maybe it may have thermal issues compared to the SD Gen 3. Idk why exactly I feel this way, but I think it may over time.
@JaimeRiveraTech That's good to hear. I had the S22 Ultra and one of the reasons I went to the S24 Ultra was due to the thermal issues. I was hoping it would get fixed with software, because the cooler hardware seemed fine... But it never did. With my S24 Ultra, it's never broke 39° usually it runs 27° on average. (when not charging)
Thanks bud! Means the world that you’re here. We’ve been working really hard to nail this formula the best we can. It’s been an amazing learning experience
When you think about it it's not that far-fetched that the AI would be able to make recommendations or even predict what you are going to ask if it's constantly monitoring you, for example you're looking at a piece of clothing in a store it may give you its designer its price and other information it may think relevant before you even ask
Hey Jaime, I hope you're doing well. Two suggestions, which of course, are just *my* opinions: Lose the background music. At least to me, it's very distracting. Cover more topics, with less info on each, and less time devoted to each. I hope the project brings you lots of success in the new year!
Appreciate it bud. The music is more a location choice. This is not a treated room, so there’s only so much a dynamic microphone can suppress. I live in a very busy street so it’s crazy noisy. As for topics, totally. As I mentioned on my first episode, this will vary based on how much is worthy of me covering. Some days it’ll just be one good topic, some days it’ll be 5. This is slow season. It’ll get beefier very soon
hopefully the s25 series will have new features honestly, i don't want it to just have a design revamp as one of the only new things and im not talking AI features, and also they should try bigger batteries

Square the corners, round the corners, curve the screen, flatten it. Just keep changing for sake of change.
Well, I think market preferences shift as technology evolves
