- Really enjoying the combat. definitely my favourite fight. It could've been faster with savage axe but saed is more fun to me. Also he has horrible elemental Hitzones but that doesn't stop me from enjoying the fight!

120,000 HP on a level 200 with one person is pretty par for the course. If you want to see insane HP levels, Tobi-Kadachi is actually the winner, at least in TU2. Level 120 with four people had over 300,000!
How does one know an Afflicted monster's starting HP? Simple - every time you "pop" a Qurio Core (the areas covered in red glowing dots when an Afflicted Monster is enraged), you deal ~1% of the monster's maximum HP in damage. In this Scorned Magnamalo's case, I spotted a pop for ~1200.

It's coz that thing actively teleports and has a ton of gimmicks to it.
That's because Ancient Leshon exclusively had moves that wasted time.
High knockback slaps, claw attacks that pinned you down, root cages, huge AoE's that sent you flying and hordes of fodder.
All of his attacks did nothing but waste time.
The damage output was also pathetic compared to Subreak. Spirit Helmbreaker could AT MOST do about 1100 every couple seconds.
More than half the attacks in Sunbreak do more than that bat once and can be done back-to-back-to-back.
Ancient leshen was a fuckin waste of gigs on my PS4. RIP bozo, you will not be missed.
hate it when people compare mainline games with the portable line.
the portable line of the game always was more arcade focused and experiment with whacky stuff
World and Rise weren't even built by the same team and are meant to be two different experiences so please stop comparing them even though rise got ported to PC it is still not designed as a Mainline game
It’s crazy how even putting out constant damage this speed run is almost 9 minutes, sunbreak is crazy and you are the cb giga chad

Those back leg hitzones are tough to get good SAEDs on. A few of the phials that hit that area went for 500+, others went for anywhere from 200s to 400s.

@@LuxZoltan Sure it’s a “auto evade” but for me being a Ls main doing that playstyle is fun but when u mess up your hit for that u loose gage which sucks (if u do wanna run sacred sheathe use qs 2) if u wanted to play Ls
@@LuxZoltan by auto evade you mean the "failed" sacred sheathe counter? yea, you lose gauge because of that and now you're fucked while waiting for sakura slash wirebug cooldown (which takes decade) to build gauge again. If you want to play the og way you need to use Harvest moon (takes 2 wirebug and cooldown also take ages) and you cannot sheathe your weapon to heal or get hit twice outside the circle and bounce back or the circle is gone. Did i mention that helmbreaker also takes ages to cooldown? So my point is longsword IS THE ONE that require better timing and technicality
@@lumynx1380 @lumynx1380 leveling up the spirit gauge it's not hard, even without Sakura slash, Tempered spirit blade made it really fast and Foresight Slash gives a huge invulnerability to everything, also Lai spirit slash can level up two levels if the combo continues after the counter, like the end of sacred sheathe combo
I'm not saying long sword doesn't require practice of course it does but losing one level of gauge for being invulnerable to everything it's pretty powerfull
And it's not like I hate long sword, it was my favorite in older games
I love charge blade but it still grinds my gears when I block perfectly and land an SAED, but still eat the monsters punish cause it takes a week and a half to fold the weapon back up.

Too all CB users what do u think of the recovery time of the SAED ( AED ) ? If its fast enough for you what do u suggest me to do ? CB is one of favorite wpn and I love playin SAED but i feel like it cant catch up with the game bein speed up.. they should really speed up the recovery time too cause for me this isnt viable to take so much damage or trading in hope of a clutch .. pizza cutter took too much place in the way CB is played..
I dont thiink they will ever change indeed there is almost no openings to do an saed without gambling. The only attacks that are saed openings are tail beam, punch beam and exhausted form punches. And this is one of the best saed match ups.
SAED is super viable/used in SB.
If you know the matchup you know when to saed or to use other attacks.
Speedrunning is different really, they mostly want to find their "perfect run" which most of the time relies on gambling SAEDS hoping/planning to stagger.

oh no this is from ingame. The Moddified Moveset Magnamalo I wanted to create wont be happening for a long time because there isn't many modders interested in rise/capable of doing it. But we get something else cool on December, which is better.

Didn't do a lot of afflicted yet. Do the monsters get faster or have any gameplay difference with higher levels or is it just stat bloat like higher hp and more attack? I only now some afflicted are a bit faster like somnacanth, but some like seregios are exactly the same sadly

The only properly unique things I’ve noticed are garangolm and seething bazel have unique qurio explosion ultimate attacks. Other than that like you say some are faster and there is less cooldown

@@NNichtnormal people were literally asking for this since base rise came out. i don't really know what kind of endgame you're expecting other than hunting the same monsters to begin with tbh. that's the entire gameplay loop.

Hahaha, this reminds me when i reached lv 200 anomaly investigation a week ago. This crazy beast can be so difficult if you don't hunt it often and memorized it's behavior, movement & attack patterns. If you want easy mode hunting this beast, i suggest you to use elemental lbg builds.

I really like this fight, unfortunately can’t play it it online cause people can’t be bothered to upgrade their armor even at ar 120+ or they never pick up spirit birds so I’m forced to solo this guy every time I get him
Goddamn Scorned Magnamalo is just so crazy. Ruiner is cool and all, but he always felt way easier than normal Nergi. Scorned wants to kill you. With every hit.
Scorned is how you do a variant.
Doesn't help that normal Nergi isn't in master rank, hence making Ruiner itself feel like master rank nergi instead of a variant that specializes in certain attributes of the standard monster.

that dude have 1 million HP and you basic attack dealt around below 10k...so yeah impossible unless you use meteor bullet (abused mechanisim)
