We already have the perfect setup! They are: - Seething Bazelgeuse, Scorned Magnamalo, and Furious Rajang (Variants) - Metal Raths, Lucent Nargacuga, and Violet Mizutsune (Rare Species) - Flaming Espinas (Subspecies)
I'm impress for scorned because he haven't revealed his true malice form and manage to beat afflicted Magnamalo with out even using it! Plus Scorned haven't even get knock out of his current malice state and still won how?? (I wish he could become into his true malice) form
The problem is that Afflicted never got enough damage onto Scorned's armblades. If that happened, the 4k HP advantage could have bought more time. Not that the eventual Pacified did it many favors either, and that happened twice. On top of a few Anomaly Core pops. Afflicted fought well, but was beaten by Scorned having the more difficult mechanic.
@@rhirune Yep. Red Scorned happens from the second onward. If you get it down before then, well done. There might be a deeper condition still, but that's what I have gathered so far.
Damn, those 2 had so many clashes with the same kinds of moves! Which makes sense since Scorned Magnamalo is a Variant of the normal one, but still, really cinematic! But Afflicted Magnamalo is a mere puppet of the Qurio, while Scorned Magnamalo is a legend of the Rampage!
@LEGOMaster25 Scorned is something of an expert at gymnestics. Jokes aside Scorned Magnamalo has one of the best moveset and is a real treat to watch in action.
That was an interesting watch. Afflicted seemed to have a slight edge at the start, dealing more damage per hit. But once Scorned got going he was completely unstoppable lol

We all know you must unlock afflicted to get scorned, so this veteran player knew exactly what his opponent was going to do before he did it. Incredible display of skill, memory, and confidence the player took with himself out on the field.
I belife Afflicted was actually dominating percentual for a while, so it surprises me even more how much HP Scorned had left at the End. I didnt looked at the Number but it seemned as if he had 20% left.
What happens first: A general damage threshold or one on a specific body part? Here, we have seen the clear answer. Scorned was never pushed out of his Armblade Phase and while Afflicted's Qurio Explosion did some damage, it also kept it in place while Scorned was still on the offensive. And the time after the Explosion only delayed the inevitable: Being knocked out of the Delirious State and being in the much slower Pacified. Afflicted put up a good fight until the first time that happened, but it just couldn't get back into the game despite valiant efforts. Plus 700 damage per armblade beam AND a few pops? Yeah... Afflicted was just on its way out at that point.
@@Assassin-ix5iv The Elders weren't afflicted as well as Scorned in the game files. This was before the reveal of Risen Elders, and this could mean we will get Risen Furious Rajang, Risen Seething Bazelgeuse etc.

the outcome made sense to me its made clear in lore that being afflicted is not an upgrade despite the increased health pool the Qurio spots popping massively offsets that the infected are as in lore basically flopping around in their death throws desperately clinging to life scorned magnamalo has no downsides he has no major weak points. hes a tank he also comes with higher explosion resistance he also has a higher overall damage output
@Drecknath Magladery Agreed, Scorned should win even in lore; we can think of Afflicted Magnamalo as almost being rabid because it technically is dying to the effects of the qurio
@@MonsterSlayerSquad Afflicted still gets powered up in lore by the Quirio, with aggression etc. But it is a death sentence basically like the Frenzy, the Quirio will infect more monsters with the Afflicted, feed on them etc. This is due to their special poison, and insane toughness.
This was an awesome surprise battle and the outcome surprised me, the way people talked about the Afflicted Magnamalo I really thought it would be an easy win, but Scorned kicked its butt pretty much easily! Gg that was amazing 😁
@Caligula 300 Scorned is basically one of the strongest monster in Sunbreak and unlocked at master rank 100, but as everyone pointed out afflicted monsters are terrifying too; and in most matchups they would probably win

Scorned Magnamalo was just stronger, and more brutal, I was wondering about a scenario where these 2 would meet, now im seeing it! I will say this, I've fought Magnamalo so many times, that I'm used to the timing of some of its attacks, this was one exciting match!.

That was Amazing fight, my favorite rise base Monster and his variant fight like a real Deathmatch. Maybe Zinogre Apex or afflicted can give more pressure to Scorned.
It was quite impressive show from Scorned, because even with such a big difference in health it still managed to get the win. I'm not too surprised though, Scorned is extremely aggressive and really got no chill. Honestly, I would love to see another monster with no chill have a go against Scorned. Yeah, I'm talking about Furious Rajang.
Would definitely be an interesting idea to see if other monsters could take down their afflicted clone similar to how the first Pokémon movie went down. Also definitely wouldn’t mind seeing seething bazel or furious rajang against scorned magna.

I wasn't expecting this battle at all but I can't say it wasn't fun at all. I think being able to get the pacified state is HUGE for scorned cause that healthbar difference is insane. Also I was highkey hoping he would get pushed to use his dragon energy attacks. Also, is any chance we'll see a master rank rematch of Goss Harag and Rajang?
@Im the Catman glad you liked the fight, it was a pretty high intensity fight though afflicted magna couldn't push scorned to enter its most powerful state. I can assure there are other equally powerful monsters that can; so look forward to that. As for rematches, currently i am focusing on new fights; but later down the line I will consider it.

i think theres an issue with scorned, monsters cant inflict the first knockdown (aka taking out his purple parts) to put him in his other phases, limiting his moveset in ways
@Cracstheidiot 69 i tested this and scorned is able to enter all its phases and use its full move set in these boss vs boss fight, though those conditions were not met in this fight.
That's what I call male Magnamalo fight. One is younger and it's horn is bigger but afflicted and the other is older, half of its horn is broken but aggressive! Who will be the true dominated male to take over many lands!!
Technically Scorned cannot be the dominant one anymore because a broken horn basically turns it into an incel in the eyes of other Magnamalos. All hopes of finding companions or mates are basically shattered.

2:19 was just the coolest thing I have seen up to that point in Monster Hunter. Both doing the backflip was just so cool.
Magnamalo did its best, but Magnamalo took it in the end. I know Magnamalo had been the first bet, but you shouldn't doubt Magnamalo.

Scorned Magnamalo was much more difficult then Afflicted for me, the only Monster in Rises entirety to make me fail a quest on first go.
