- A remake of Tee Lopes' track using just Sonic the Hedgehog instruments. Achieved with VOPM and FMDrive. A tough one to reproduce due to the complex melodies and absence of a MIDI, but finally settled on something I liked, with an extended section at the end. With this version, I wanted to stick to the limits of the YM2612 audio.

It was confirmed to only be inspired by Desert Dazzle and has nothing to do with Dust Hill.

I love how the swing is toned back to give it more of a classic feel, if there was to be a modernized version of Mirage saloon i would go in the opposite direction of this remix. Nice work on the musical structure of this remix Yuzoboy.

This is awesome! My only suggestion is to make the bass a bit more present. :D
Dylan Green I originally did have a Streets of Rage bass going, but chose to change to the Sonic style bass which isn't as powerful but more authentic to the series.
Fun Fact: the gameplay in the background is from sonic 2 scrapped zone called dust hill zone

Hey Yuzoboy, would you recommend me getting the FMDrive plugin? I'm wondering if it would be an improvement over VOPM. Thanks in advance, and keep up the good work!
Mega's Retro Mixes n' Stuff Some sounds I can't achieve with VOPM I can easily do with FMDrive and vice versa. Plus it has more easier to apply effects than VOPM. I would recommend both equally.
I guess i'll be getting it then, VOPM is not perfect either, but it does the trick.

Nice job on this one. One thing I've been curious about is whether or not you will update the note block remixes after Minecraft Update 1.12 which comes out on June 2nd (it's adding 5 more instruments: xylophone, bell, flute, chime and guitar).
Edit: It was apparently delayed until the 7th.
