I love Atacs FG and AU both. I think they are fantastic patterns, and work very well. I'm looking forward to the new FG/AU X stuff, as I'm sure you are as well. Great video John!

Love it, you'll notice that most of my instructional videos I put out I'm wearing this or woodland.

Excellent video. FG is my go to as well. I've found that, Condor, Wisport and Flyye's patterns all match Tur-Spec perfectly. Both in clothing and their kit. As they should being officially licensed A-TACS suppliers. Sure their kit is not "go to war" tough as some of the others out there, but the bang for the buck can't be beat. Also, if you have not seen them yet, check out Brownings' line of Hell's Canyon A-TACS FG items. Both Amazon and Midway USA carry the entire line. Specifically check out their three glove offerings. Those also work very well with a TRU coat. Now, if we could only get the boot makers to get on board. Keep up the excellent work.

ATACS FG is one of my favorite patterns as well. It may be the most versatile pattern for the North Texas area where I live. It works surprisingly well even in the winter months.

I live in Wisconsin, and we have winter 6-7 months out of the year! So i use A-TACS AU in the the winter.

AU is a good choice for winter use.

I got turned on to it after following Bruce while he was running through the combat engagement course while wearing FG. I couldn't believe how well he was blending in as he was moving through the course.

I love my A-TACS FG, its all i use in the summer! But i have found that the sun does wash it out. I am really looking forward to seeing what FG X can do! I recently got IX, and i love it, its all that UCP should have been.

    Very good video.
From the various patterns I've seen, if I were going to pick a green based pattern, I'd be splitting hairs between A-TACS FG (as in this video) and Pencott Greenzone. And that's because these two are somewhat lighter/paler than most other woodland/temperate/green patterns. The only drawback with the A-TACS family of patterns (but not with the IX pattern) is that they do lack a bit of finer contrasting elements. At a distance, it just seems to blur into one solid colour. Still a great pattern, but if just a little more small contrasting pattern shapes were included....even better.

I'm curious if the TOPS pullover would make the ATACS FG even more effective because of it's looser fit? Any chance of seeing a video with it in use and in the FG pattern?

Absolutely it would. And yes, I'm already planning on it.

Atacs is the crack of camo..... Fyi for people that live in forested areas with a lot of dead ground cover, FG ad AU work great as a mix n match set. I know a lot of people prefer ball caps, but boonie hats break up the shape of your head better (for those that are new to C&C). Anywho... I'm glad to see Atacs getting some love, beats the brakes off of multicam six days a week, and twice on Sundays.

I really miss this pattern! Too bad it dye was the "Pal Gum" of dyes and washed out to a white/grayish fade! I wish we could get them to reproduce it with a better holding color dye.

I only ever had problems with my Propper stuff. All my Tru-Spec FG is still going strong.

The Russians still make it, they call it moss camo. I got some ANA Rush pants from Greyshop and they have held up well.

@@imgoingberserk5918 thanks for telling me this. It's a great camo pattern and color scheme! Do you have any links to vendors?

@@AlphaCharlieConcepts I get the impression multicam has a bit too much tan, and scorpion w2 is a bit too green. Would you say a tacs fg is a good middleground?

Works great in Ohio in the summer. Still using Multicam in the fall and UCP in the winter.
