Cried at the poetic symmetry with the Brachiosaurus... being the first and last full appearance of a living dinosaur on the island, in the whole series... first time full of shock and awe, last time with grim and sorrow... Can't wait for Dominion with the original trio back!

That particular Brachiosaur was also the exact same one from the first movie the protagonists first saw as well.
A minor detail, but still amazing. When the explosion happens, you can see how it messes with Rexy‘s hearing, how she shakes her head.
I honestly can’t wait for Jurassic World: Dominion next year!! I read everyone still alive is coming back for it; Grant, Ellie, Maisie, Owen, Claire, Franklin, at least one of her nephews from the first JW. It’s gonna be awesome!

I’d say this movie was definitely the most horror adjacent, this movies theme and the indoraptor theme still gives me goosebumps
Specifically Gothic Horror as opposed to the more adventure-horror we've seen in the past. It's set in a big Victorian mansion against an actual monster of humanity's own creation in the vein of werewolves or "Frankenstein's monster"
The indoraptor was the first in this series to actually unsettle me. It's unnatural movements and actually malicious nature are so well done.
the fact that Maisie turned out to be a clone is such an interesting plot and it's also very dark since the cloning process is always very delicate and involves many dead "prototypes" until a successful result is reached... I can't even imagine-
I always wondered if that was why the Indoraptor was so focused on her. He had all 3 of them trapped, but as soon as Maisie bolted he went after her, leaving an injured victim (Claire) behind.

There is a fan theory that the indoraptor imprinted on Maise. Wu says it needs a mother and then it keeps reaching out to touch her.

I believe the Mosasaurus jumping out of the water was a learned behavior because that was the way she was fed at the park, and so she adapted it. That ladder guy could've lived extra years of his life more, minutes from that moment even by just dangling through the open air lol 😂

I think you'd LOVE Camp Cretaceous! It takes place a bit before, during and after Jurassic World and it fits into the main story! It's a lot of fun!
Blue is a true hero and a beautiful velociraptor to even exist and Mary Cherry just to let you know when I saw the Indoraptor I actually tried calling it Goldie because of the yellow stripe on it's neck.

That dinosaur that reared up in the volcanic ash was the same one that Ellie grant and Malcolm saw when they first came to Jurassic park.
I cried so much in the theatre with this movie.. watching all our dinos we know and love dying to the volcano.. and then the smoke out scene at the end was just gut wrenching

The part with the lava actually really really bugs me. Lava is molten rock...it is literally thousands of degrees......just being within a few feet of it would burn you......badly. you don't need to be in lava for it to hurt you. If it can almost touch your shoes your clothes are already on fire.

One explanation for why the lava didn’t kill the Baryonyx would be the leidenfrost effect, where the water in it’s skin formed a layer of insulation that absorbed the heat from the lava. It was enough to save the animal from death, but not enough to keep it from getting burned.

this one has so many scenes from Jurassic Park 1 and 2 that I actually thought the same as you about Dominion.
JA Bayona has done two movies that you should absolutely watch. The Impossible (which is about the thailand tsunamai in the early 2000s) and A Monster Calls (which is an adaptation of a book of the same name.) they are both beautiful dramas and A Monster Calls needs to be seen by more people.
I saw The Impossible, it was really good.
J.A. bayona is actually a horror director and I think some of his movies have won awards also there's a short film set 1 year later after JEFK

Love the detail before Mill gets eaten, the compies in the background were about to get it but got scared because Rexy was coming. And of course Mosasaurus is the unsung hero always

You are correct about next sequel. It is called Jurassic World: Dominion and scheduled to be released on June 10, 2022. This sequel will include both Dr. Grant and Dr. Sattler (original Jurassic Park) with Claire and Owen plus of course, Dr. Malcolm. Even greedy Dr. Wu is in this movie. Maisie Lockwood will be in this movie.
This sequel's production was halted few times due to Pandemic. It was scheduled to be released June of this year, but delays due to Pandemic.
Frank Marshall, producer of this sequel stated that it will be more in this series in the future that humans must coexist with Dinosaurs.
When i seen the movie in the theater when it came to the point where the Brachiosaurus died on the pier i was so sad since i think it was the one from the first movie
It was, the writers confirmed it. The big give away is the way it rears up on its hind legs in the same pose as we saw in JP1.

You should watch Battle at Big Rock. Its a short film but its still directed by Colin Trevorrow and takes place after JW Fallen Kingdom. Its on TH-cam. Maybe Camp Cretaceous on Netflix too.

We should really give names to the animals. Raptor = Blue, T-Rex = Bob, Brachiosaurus = Stretch, Triceratops = Spike. What do you think? This way, when the t-rex shows up, we can say "Hi Bob! Thanks for saving us again!"

I have to admit, I dont think Ive ever seen the phrase "just getting better" attributed to.... THIS movie lol each to their own though, glad you enjoyed it.
Thing is though, everyone was saying either ''save them all'' or ''let them all die'', why did no one say ''save the species that had harmed no one (and Blue) and not the big vicious carnivores''?
I don’t understand why people hated this movie so much at least it was better than Lost World and actually got me excited for the final instalment which will be tilted Jurassic World Dominion and Colin Trevorrow will be back to direct it

Honestly one of my favorite Dinosaurs is the Baryonyx mostly because it’s a piscivore but also because it’s habitats consist of water and and land which is so cool to me personally because I love the ocean.

Hey. Great video. You should watch the animated show(Cretaceous camp) that breach the gap between first Jurassic World and second one but also after that until third one. Well, if you don't mind animated shows or movies, at least. It has all the savour of the movies in it too, in my opinion. Though, it's a teen show. But it remains scary as hell. And you find back all the dinosaurs you already know from the movies. It also coordinated with the directors of Jurassic world. So, it's not just based on it or adapted from it, it has actually some information you don't have in the movies. It's pretty interesting in those aspects only, already.
