    About the Speakers:
    Liz Meckes
    Director of Development, Easterseals
Since 2005, Liz has been an unwavering advocate for Easterseals, passionately sharing its story with volunteers, donors, and corporate partners. Starting as a Special Event Coordinator, she orchestrated engaging events, nurtured corporate relationships, and significantly boosted fundraising efforts, notably elevating the Walk With Me event's proceeds.
As Director of Development since 2014, Liz leads a dedicated team in spearheading all fundraising initiatives, yet her true joy lies in forging genuine connections with donors and volunteers, fueled by her curiosity about their Easterseals journey.
Liz helped kick-start, and provides leadership as a member of the executive committee, the Easterseals Development Leadership Network; a network of development leaders from across the county who work to deliver collaborative solutions, professional development and organizational support to affiliates. In 2020, Liz recruited colleagues from across the country to launch ES Gaming, an Easterseals sub brand aimed at delivering a more inclusive space and creating a new standard for equity and inclusion among gamers and amplifying disabled voices and accessible innovations in the ever-evolving video game and esports industry.
Outside of work, Liz enjoys family time with her husband and young son, finds solace in Ocean City, NJ, immersing herself in outdoor activities and fervently cheering for the Philadelphia Phillies.Show Less
