    How simpler and more reliable was life back in times when one could use air membrane water level switch from thrown out front loaded laundry machines or buy a new one as spare part for a couple of dollars and precicely adjust levels for on and of with a couple of screws - for some reason they never break even after couple of decades of use and repurposing ;)

    Superb !! Wondering if would be same approach using the HX711 ?? Which If I recall well it is more accurate and flexible . My hat off , I have several of these , never figured out how works . It would be nice a linearity test . Kudos !!

      Yes, the HX711 is the big brother to the HX710 and can be also used in this application. The HX711 has selectable gain and is designed for load cell interfacing.

    Where is the pic microcontroller, is it onboard the scamp3 board? Is it possible ti use the barometric air pressure senson directly with a pic microcontroller?

    If I substitute an Arduino Mega 2560 for the Scamp board, will this code still work as long as I make note of the pin no., and emit the the lines of code pertaining to the LED's of the Scamp board?

    • @0033mer
      @0033mer  ปีที่แล้ว

      The Scamp board has GPIO support words like input, output, set, clear ... etc that you will have to write your own. The words "bars" applies to the onboard 16 LED array unique to the Scamp board. Check out the Scamp website and HX710 data sheet for more info.

    1. Would the Arduino Mega 2560 work in place of the Scamp3 board, with this pressure module. I already have a USB to Midi cable. - 2. Do I also have to flash the board as you would with the Arduino

    • @0033mer
      @0033mer  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you can run Flashforth on the Mega2560 in place of the Scamp3 board. flashforth.com/atmega.html

      @@0033mer I have already ordered the pressure sensor you used from Amazon. I just wondered if thought it would work in a blow and draw way, the same as the other sensor I posted to you by Synth Hacker. And weather I could use a 10v sensor in place of what you used, considering your board gets its power from the 5v USB connector.

    Hi, I'm a laundry technician. I would like you to help me design a load sensing circuit for washing machines. But instead of the LEDs, I would like it to have a tone generator. For when people overload washers.

    If I build this, will I need some kind of driver for my DAW to recognize it?

    • @0033mer
      @0033mer  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you will have to convert the breath pressure values into MIDI messages. (CC, Pitch bend or aftertouch)
      Check out this video for a simple MIDI interface: th-cam.com/video/MPhZMkZ1KjQ/w-d-xo.html

      @@0033mer Thanks for the quick response. Yes I know about the CC values, I just did not know if the device will be recognized or picked up in my midi device selection with or with out a driver.

    Dear Sir.
    would you provide me the program for Arduino Uno for reading the pressure for HX710B please.
    Thank you in advance.
    P. S. I couldn't find reliable library nor a good program for HX710B.
    kind regards.

      You can use it with any microcontroller. Two GPIO pins can extract the pressure data.
