Summer in Helsinki has been the best summer for me ever! I was there before Covid back in 2019 and haven't been able to do so ever since because of Covid. Hopefully next summer!

Bravo aux finlandais,un grand peuple civilisé...
Visit the southern parts if youre going in summer, its much warmer in southern Finland and much more unique architectures in south. Visit Helsinki or Turku, just helping and giving the best advices :). Unless youre a winter person, go to Lapland, but if architecture and old style interests you, Turku and Helsinki are the best options. In those cities you can even go to Sweden or Latvia or Germany or Russia with a ship, in Turku only to Sweden

Because I’m interested in Finnish design and architectures and I love Finland ☺️ So I want to visit Finland in spring and summer! But I didn’t know that I can visit Sweden,Germany and other countries! I’ll try that!
I was there in May for finnish language exam, i passed, so moving to finland in the upcoming few months, cant wait :) BTW, what camera are you using OP?

Live the humid days in Finnish way . First in a steamy sauna and then a jump in the clean lake . After that again a steamy " löyly " and using vihta . Once again in the lake and then sitting on the terrace enjoying the nightless nights.
Hey! The climate in Finland belongs to Df category in Köppen classification. The southern coast including Helsinki is Dfb (humid continental mild summer, wet all year), and the rest of the country is Dfc (subarctic with cool summer, wet all year). You can check out the Köppen climate classification here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/K%C3%B6ppen_climate_classification I'd say that, in the hot summer days, like we have experienced in the past few weeks (right now its +29c in Helsinki), it still feels quite nice outside and relatively cool. Its not too humid like in the tropics but its much more humid comparing to very arid places like Nevada or many Middle Eastern countries for example. Have a nice day! :)
At the moment in Finland there are 11 people in intensive care and 29 others hospitalised, 973 have died in total. Vaccination is at 60% for the first dose and 20% are fully vaccinated. It's still recommended that you wear a mask inside shops and on public transportation.
I might guess what makes you draw such a conclusion. In the Nordic countries June and July are when people take their vacation and move to their country cabins and houses or travel abroad. Helsinki is then a very empty and quiet town, and damned nice because of that.
