When the doctor was examining her he made a joke about how she didn’t need to do anything special for such an occasion and when she looked down she realised she had used her daughters glittery body wash and her private parts were all sparkly. I am like Adrienne. I am thatvgirl who would think twice about going to the er if I wasn’t fresh... I also carry wipes just in case... Not that I ever smell... but Its a fear. I am doing IVF and am always freshly washed and completely shaved. My doctors see me daily. I feel bad for any doctor needing to work on a women who isn’t fresh and clean. I want my doctor to have a pleasant day so they can do the best job they can... having to deal with stank I imagine would make it harder...

yall i don't know how women go to male gynecologists. i know it they are highly trained professionals and have seen everything under the sun, but its still a man.im not a hater just a very genuine question.
Most of the times you don’t pick whether your doctor is a male or female you have to ask for it. My gynecologist is a woman but I didn’t know who she was until I came to my first appointment. My very first time at the gynecologist I called to make an appointment cause I was having problems with my period and they didn’t ask me any questions if I want a man or a woman.

Not a big deal, but it's put there for a reason. Trim the lawn and make a path. It won't stank and be a breeding ground if one sits in a tub, clean and protect.

I don't quite get the makeup, but I understand why women would want to groom their "down theres" when going to the OB/GYN. You don't want the doctor to have to take out a rat tail comb to part your hairs in order to see what's going on in there.
I would think all that matters is that you're Clean.
At my doctor you I usually wear my shoes when I put my feet on the stirrup. But if your pregnant it’s really hard to keep up with shaved parts.
