while it is not cheap, at all, my favorite is Xerjoff 's line Alexandria II, III, and Orientale. They are magical, challenging, beautiful, and dark. Not for everyone, and it took my nose a few months to adjust to the complexity it offers, but once you find your groove with them, they are unlike anything else I have smelled.
@@ByCandlelight666 I actually tried a sample first (highly recommended on these). I HATED it the first time wearing it. Couldn't scrub it off fast enough, but somehow I returned to it a few months later, and gave it another shot. Still didn't like the initial spray, but the dry down blew my mind open. It was unlike anything else I smelled. It is the Oud that can be off putting, as that scent can be "difficult" for some noses, but once you get trained in there, it is pure luxury. They all have the same DNA, but my favorite is Alexandria Orientale - is a bit more smokey/incense/rose/vanilla/exotic wood/cinnamon, whereas the Alexandria II and III have a bit more floral, amber, apple, and rose mixed into the darker notes. Majestic is the best way to describe it, and it commands attention. Get a sample and just let it do its shapeshifting thing over the course of several hours. It will grow on you. All of Xerjoff's scents are stunning . Apollonia is another favorite; if you could bottle what the full moon smells like, this is it (white musk, iris, white floral).

I used to wear Bastet by Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab but had to stop - even a wee dab was overwhelming. To the point that I'd have to sort of scrub it off if I was in an enclosed environment with other people. But I may have to give it a second chance after watching this. Can I also give a mention to Tokyomilk - I've only tried Excess and La Vie La Mort (too rosy for this girl) but am curious about their other scents: Nocturnal, Femme Fatale, Tainted Love. Intrigued by Maison Louis Marie so will give them a look. Cheers from New York.

It's quite pricey, but African Leather by Memo ...right. Its Goth on a African level mate.
