Dear Cathy, I try to show acts of kindness everyday. Either in person or by sending a text message or email to my family and friends and letting them know that I appreciate and love them. I always try to make eye contact, smile, and speak to strangers when I’m out and about, and I’m always, always polite in any situation. I go by the golden rule that my mother taught me, "Treat others as you would like to be treated" Blessings!

Hi Cathy,
My act is towards my parents. They live in the state north of me and I was able to visit them after Thanksgiving. My mom recently was discharged from the hospital and got to go back home. I wanted to help out and be there as she is working to be more independent and strong. I love them n I hope she won't have to go back to the hospital again.

Spreading happiness, I donated nice clothing to a nursing home. There are times they are short on clothing in appropriate sizes as so many patients share clothing via the laundry room. When I bring things needed to certain individuals they are very pleased someone cares about them. It makes happy too 😊

I paint rocks and hide them to brighten days for kids and adults alike. I make lots of cards and give them away. Got the birthdates for every month and leave a birthday card for everyone. I don’t know them, but that doesn’t matter. I leave my ephemera clusters I hang on doors in our 55+ community’s doors. Spread kindness and my art all over the place! Good for everyone. Lightens my load ( hoard) and makes people smile.

I'm so happy I came across your page! You are so inspiring and absolutely correct! We all need a little supportive hug sometimes! Today I surprised the car behind me at Dunkin donuts and paid for their order! I've just recently had knee replacement surgery. I know how hard it is to shop at times. Last week I noticed a very sweet lady in the electric shopping cart having a hard time shopping. So we buddied up and finished our shopping together!! 😊 It was a very blessed day!!

I try and show acts if kindness by holding the doors open for people, letting them go ahead of me in the grocery line, paying it forward. After I had opened a door and got a cart for an elderly lady she asked me why I was being so nice to her and that she wanted to take me home with her.❤

My daughter and I were in line in Hobby Lobby and the man in front of us was holding two large pictures with no basket and there were 4 or 5 people in line ahead of him. We got his attention and let him rest his purchases over the top of our basket until it was his turn to pay. He was so nice and grateful

I love sharing happiness to the Elderly by teaching Art and Craft classes every Tuesday ...they look so forward to getting out of their apartments and having something to do. We have great time.
The last craft project was a book folding candle for Christmas.

Hi, really loved these tiny envelopes! As a teacher of 7-9 year olds, I make sure that I show kindness to all of them. Like you said, you never know what someone is going through, including children. I greet them with a big warm smile and and ask them how they are, and try to make a comment relevant to them. That way they feel seen and treasured. The best thing is when they start doing it to others.

I do acts of kindness all the time. My favorite is helping someone who needs help putting groceries in their car. Another one is to get something from a shelf for someone in like a wheelchair or scooter who can’t reach it. I even tell my grandkids to do at least one a day

My act of kindness today, I was in our local shop and just as I was ready to pay when the cutest little boy was trying to put a pack of sweeties on the counter. His mummy was telling him to wait, and I took them from his hand and asked if he wanted them, he told me yes, so then I asked should I pay and the cutie yes yes. So I paid for them. That smile on his and his mummys face was beautiful.

My daughter and I made extra food with our meals for neighbors the week before Thanksgiving and still are doing it. It's been good since a couple people told us they were out of food stamps. My other half and I were gifted a huge turkey dinner. We donated it to the park we live in because they do a meal and get together for the residents. I usually help with the meal but couldn't because my other daughter had emergency open heart surgery. She goes home from the hospital soon . She has a HH Nurse who will be there while her husband works. He's getting a pacemaker Friday. So prayers or positive Vibes are helping. 🐞🐞🐞

I try to spread happiness when I’m out and about. Holding doors, letting cars in line when possible. I try to treat others the way I’d like them to treat me. I tell my grandchildren the same and can only hope they do the same.

Brand new subbie here. I just found your channel today. I was watching another video, and this one showed up below it. The little envelope dangles drew me right to watching it. They are super cute. I love the whole act of kindness idea. The world needs more of that. My latest act of kindness happened at the grocery last week. A lady was trying to reach something on the top shelf, and she couldn't reach it. I asked her what she wanted, and the look of appreciation on her face was very obvious. She thanked me profusely, we wished each other a Happy Thanksgiving and went our separate ways. I love doing for others (especially my elders) without them having to ask me to do it, and I do it often. Feels great for me and makes them feel good, too.

Please continue encouraging people to spread a little kindness. It really does make a difference , just a kind word or smile cost nothing. My favorite to do is when there is a child crying or unhappy in a store or restaurant and you see mom or dad at their wits end. I live in a huge tourist town and there are always children that are tired or a parent stressed. Just a kind word to the parent or often as a stranger showing the child attention can change the whole scene.

Shown act of kindness this week. Because my neighbor had fallen broker hip. And I have been collecting her mail for her and send it to her or getting it to her. While she's in rehab. Checking her house out every day and making sure that it's secure. I know she's been asking me to do things and you know if I could help her out. And of course I do. So my act of kindness this week was to help my neighbor with her mail.
