Yeah I agree. We really didn't need Seaside Hill and Green Hill in the same game. As nostalgic as it was I much rather have Rail Canyon/Bullet Station OR Hang Castle/Mystic Mansion
3rd favorite Sonic game. Second is either Black Knight or SA2 and the first is PS3 Unleashed. AWESOME REMIX! It keeps a lot of the original song's feel.
Nice. Though I would have preferred a egg fleet or final fortress mix. Those were my favorite stages in this game. I took over twenty minutes blowing up robots and still got the A rank.
Hang Castle would have been epic in Generations. Classic could be inside and Modern outside. The scene where you run up the tower would make a perfect quick step section.
My thought process: Zero seconds in: "Oh, hell yes, another song by the Wingless!" Thirty seconds in: "...Wait. I misread that. This is some other guy." One minute in: "Hey, it's pretty good!"

@AreoTheHedgehog Actually, the final act where all the teams fight the final boss is in all of the versions. I know, I had the Gamecube version and played that part.
@krishollow Camera issues are probably the biggest thing that withdraw me from most 3D Sonic games, though even good cameras couldn't fix Shadow the Hedgehog...
@Fallendevilmon i know both of them have the same final boss, its just that it probably is in a different format. there are many many examples of that: sonic generations and other types. or atleast i think a different format was used...
@shadowvic56 I actually thought the stages had plenty of imagination, at least when compared to Sonic '06. Every stage in there was essentially a next-gen rehash of other stages, with more bugs and bad camera angles than before.
@Bleepblue yeah, but once you get the hang of it and get all the emeralds youll be at the final boss metal overlord ... heck look at me! just from 1 simple tip i got the emeralds on my first shot!
@Thifer20 Four teams with essentially all of the same skillset. Don't get me wrong, I personally think this game is amazing and the camera angles weren't so bad. But my god. The four teams lacked so much variety it wasn't even funny.
Heroes was a good idea, and some of the stages were good, but i think people had a problem with the plot, the voice acting, and some of the levels gota little bullshitty
I dunno about you guys, but I hear like.... 5 different games in this song :| I definitely hear Sonic Heroes, Kingdom Hearts, FFVII, but the other two I swear I've probably played, but I can't put my finger on it

@AreoTheHedgehog no they dont! in the begining u pick 1 of the 4 teams,, and u play as them...and on the last level u just play as the team you picked and beat the guy with only that team...
The game was real good i think myself just lame camera angles and cheep development the only thing i really could stand is that all teams had the same lvls in the same order >.

Well, Mystic Mansion, Ice Cap and Lava Shelter are the levels I really wish were in Sonic Generations...they would definitely be great in Generations.

Sonic Heroes was my favorite of the 3D sonic games. You actually got the feel of a true Sonic game.

Although I love the menu theme for this game, these two songs were hands-down my favorites.

@cookiimoose take my advice, use the flying character with all power ups. I defeated him under a minute with almost every team :)
