Welcome to using the Maschine mk3, you will love it as you discover the many capabilities it has. You might have to map out the midi depending how you will use your device, see other comment that you left.
I'm not familiar with the Unison Chord Pack, but it it deals with midi dragging and dropping it should. If it is a 3rd party vst or au plugin you might run into compatibility issues
@@EARART Oh Nice, I do something similar with the fantom during the recording/mixing process. You will need multiple outputs an inputs to to this. So what you would do is create a send/return fx inside of Maschine. For Example, Sound Slot 1 might have a snare and want to send that to the 303. Steps as follows :1) Select Sound [ 1-16 ] 2) Go to Channel tab 3) Select Aux 4) Choose destination to external source and adjust level accordingly (This corresponds to the output of your interface and should be connected to input of 303) 5) Select another sound slot not in use 6) Select input (Audio tab should be highlighted) 7) Choose Source (This is where your output of 303 is connected to your input on your interface) Hope this helps !
Thank you for your video however, I am a very new beginner. Therefore, I need every single step from point A to Z not from point J to Z. In other words, how did you save your midi information onto your desktop before dragging and dropping it? This will be very helpful to me.
Hi, Thank you for tuning in. I have a few videos on midi that you may want to consider watching to help you better understand how to use midi with an external device. 1) th-cam.com/video/PR2OIUAYPAE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=B06dq2YUbJ_dczTO 2) th-cam.com/video/EGXm6DBNGmU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=wtPbMtE9mKIWQgFb 3) th-cam.com/video/fCKY8iIrxV0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Pul7YudKfgx2MhDr
Yes, you might need a midi interface depending on your setup. For example, I use the Maschine Studio also i use my Roland keyboard as a midi controller, so i use this device called mio (midi interface) If you wanted i want to add another keyboard and it hooks up usb i can also set that up.
great stuff -
Thank you !
What I am trying to do is get midi information from my Roland SPD-SX pro to my brand new MASCHINE-MK3 I am brand new to all of this
