USA has more experience in fighting wars, but not doing too well in Asia-e.g Korea or Vietnam and look at Afghanistan. However, China doesn't need to go to war-they are concentrating on making their own country a better place to live.

Here’s my take on this. If it were a nuclear war, no one would win even if the US has way more nukes. There’s a Russia factor to it. Here’s what I would like to see. Let China and the US fight a conventional war with Russia and EU as referees. If either side uses nukes, annihilate it. My view is if the battlefield is at China’s door steps, that’s most likely the case because the US has pushed all the way to the Far East, either at East China Sea or South China Sea or both, the US would have zero chance to win. If the US starts to attack mainland China, China could deliver conventional missiles to the continental US as well. Even though the US has had never ending wars, you only see it fight countries like Iraq and Afghan. When Russia got involved in Syria, it backs down. You would never see the US fight a medium or a major power.

You're right, China's military is basically setup to ensure a capable defence. They could mount an effective sea and air offensive campaign within the sphere of East Asia/SCS but not further afield. Besides they've never shown an inclination for expansion in a military sense.

However, in this case its Joe Biden who demand the withdrawal of US troop. The US still have the resources and capability to continue occupying Afghanistan but he's the one who calls for it first. Well, China itself have already shown some of its crack. The instability in chinese real estate economy, imbalance and perhaps even downfall in chinese demographic, heavy pollution crisis, water shortages, national insecurities. China, if unable to cope with its own challenges and its own inability to become more transparent regarding the situation it was in, will have high chances of everything crashing down as fast as it has rise.
When China was extremely poor, the US could not win against China in the Korean war, let alone nowadays.
Not only US, but UN! Their side had so many countries. They still can't win that war. All of those, and so many advantages and they didn't win.

Donald Trump was too ignorant to understand this when he started the trade war with China during his term of power.

Here’s my take on this. If it were a nuclear war, no one would win even if the US has way more nukes. There’s a Russia factor to it. Here’s what I would like to see. Let China and the US fight a conventional war with Russia and EU as referees. If either side uses nukes, annihilate it. My view is if the battlefield is at China’s door steps, that’s most likely the case because the US has pushed all the way to the Far East, either at East China Sea or South China Sea or both, the US would have zero chance to win. If the US starts to attack mainland China, China could deliver conventional missiles to the continental US as well. Even though the US has had never ending wars, you only see it fight countries like Iraq and Afghan. When Russia got involved in Syria, it backs down. You would never see the US fight a medium or a major power.

You're right, China's military is basically setup to ensure a capable defence. They could mount an effective sea and air offensive campaign within the sphere of East Asia/SCS but not further afield. Besides they've never shown an inclination for expansion in a military sense.
It is very difficult for the US to learn how to respect other countries. If the US can be fair to China It would lose the game competing with China long ago.

USA has never dared to fight Russia in the cold war since both have NUKES, i nuke you, you nuke me, BOTH DIE TOGETHER. so USA has only fought weaklings since WW2 and they still dare say they are well equipped to fight a military with 90% of US militarizes capabilities.
Well clearly you don’t know anything about warfare, because in most of those conflicts we held back our military capabilities. If it were in full swing however, you would be living under a new democratic government or a nuclear wasteland.

Well fighting guerrillas is different from a standing army. they dont work the same way. besides, most of the time the taliban hid within the mountains and its not in the US interest to send in resources to fully destroy the taliban militia. they mostly turn to attrition warfare where if given enough time and with the taliban low on supply, they are the one which will submit. However, in this case its Joe Biden who demand the withdrawal of US troop. The US still have the resources and capability to continue occupying Afghanistan but he's the one who calls for it first. Currently the only thing that plaguing america is incompetence leadership.
