@dorothybroach7250 yes she loves cuddling up and watching and putting her head on my headphones so she can hear it through the vibrations. She always leaves sometime after I fall asleep though. But she falls asleep in my arms making a little "hammock" between my ribs and my arms. It's super sweet and comfortably comforting.
These kind of slow and focused movements and soft, deliberate speaking are the things that give me ASMR in the real world. I guess a lot of people get tingles from tapping and mouth noises, staccato sounds that really pull me out of it, cuz so much of the new content is that stuff, but I appreciate Maria still doing this style for those of us who benefit from it. It's really nice that it's still out there.

I always tear up at these personal attention videos because I was so emotionally and physically neglected as a child. I had to look after myself and regulate my parents' emotions while not having been taught how to regulate my own. Now I'm mentally ill with CPTSD and still expected to shoulder a bunch of responsibilities.
Thank you for being a safe space for a trauma survivor like me, and likely many others. 💚

Honestly I wouldn’t know what I would do without Maria and the asmr community before I sleep at night. I’ve been watching ASMR since I was 10 and I’m 23 now. Even with watching it for so long I’ve never commented or shared to anyone that I’ve watched asmr. I really believe that simple ASMR videos such as this can be the most effective. This was a rare gem of a video. Maria, you truly have a gift. If ASMR were an official scientific remedy, you should teach courses on it. Thank you for all your creativity; it really helps me!
Vividly remember when you did this trigger years ago while I was studying abroad in Norway for a few months. It was the first time I'd ever lived together with my boyfriend (or anyone else for that matter). Though fun, I mostly remember dealing with a lot of personal issues, including insomnia (with which your videos helped a lot). All these years later and I am back in Norway, after graduating twice and recovering from most of the aforementioned issues. My boyfriend and I are still very happy together, and I love him with all of my person. In fact, the reason I am here is because I recently moving countries to be with him for (hopefully) forever! 🥹

Ok so I saw someone do an asmr video of maths equations using an old fashioned overhead projector (@Tibees, I think she actually is a maths/physics Chanel but this one happened to be asmr) and I love this idea. There’s something so relaxing about the noise of the projector, the soft light, the moving papers ubderneath, so would be really cool to see u do something similar!!
