The hardest thing is getting it below the ear. After that it is pretty clear your growing it. The hardest part between ear and shoulder, the point when it gets easy to tie, is how to keep it out of your eyes during activity. The best thing is a hat. I was and still am beinie guy even though my hair runs down my back if i need to be able to see during physical work

I grew out my hair after starting with a buzz cut and waiting for it to reach the long wavy phase 6 months later. Unfortunately I went to the wrong barber for a trim soon after. They trimmed down the sides too heavily almost like a fade which is the opposite of what I told them. Instead of getting another buzz cut and waiting 6 more months I think it would be best to grow out the sides with these tips. Thank you for the info man!
To my fellow explorers, don't give up. After 10 months my hair still didn't reach past my neck, it takes a couple years and commitment, every time you feel like giving up and going back to small hair out of depression, just picture your ideal self. You can turn your real self into your ideal self, it just takes time. Quick heads up, even for girls it takes years to grow out their hair once they've cut it short (the mom haircut)
Biotin doesn’t really make hair grow faster however it does promote good hair health which will help reduce the risk of hair growth slowing due to be damaged or being unhealthy. Am I understanding this right?
Went to get a trim and told the lady to only cut the ends. She did shape up my hair, so it will grow out perfectly. I know she took out at least 2 inches and I feel weird rn. I truly want to have long hair and I dont want another trim for at least 6 months.

I think you should talk about the inherent side effect of Biotin, which is that it can cause acne. I didn't know this when I took it and it caused me to have a significant breakout.

You should talk about ‘what’s normal when growing out your hair’ for example reassuring people that with hair getting longer, seeing hair fall in the shower etc is normal and sometimes not the result of losing hair. Its up to you. Me personally i regretted not trimming them but its personal preference.
Cut the back enough so it wouldn’t grow into a mullet, unless you want a mullet then that’s completely fine :P
