Absolutely loving your videos. Love the info for parking and paying etc, and the walk through of the stretches and swims is priceless. Best river videos on TH-cam
Another polished video as usual Rob. The What 3 Words addition is a really great idea, as is the intro bit on the walk to the swims etc. Well done on managing to wangle out a nice 8lb-er in those conditions too.....
I visited this fishery last week Rob for a recce on a very drizzly day as you say Slippery!! .Well done on the barbel I followed your earlier advice and ended up at BAA Quatford stretch for a days angling. Always interested in the rigs you show.
Thanks Rob. Excellent as always. I'll give that a go next week when I'm up. It looks like it's going to be tough going! Still, I'll enjoy myself whatever. Cheers. 👍
Sweet vid as per . Love the 3 words tip. Nice fish looks bigger than she was could of claimed a double there 😂. You chose well. Avon is very hard going still. Not much coming out at all.
I was on the left stretch with my brother earlier this week, it must have been at the time you were there as I recognised the canoeists and paddle boarder floating by, the last time I fished the beach on the bend I lost a lot of tackle on the very snaggy bottom, so be aware, you may need a few feeders and leads! Great video, keep them coming👍
Hi there rob great videos of your fishing sessions Just wanted to drop a line to say how helpful your extra details on venues help me - as I live in the south of the country but love the severn ,avon etc I realy helps when you give a little insight into location access, parking etc Keep it coming Tight lines - tony hoskins
for providing the information and amazing fishing action on your videos, please could you give a few words of advice to the many mobility impared anglers as we both are, on river and peg access, the crucial part for us is how steep is the embankment and how many good access venues are there especially on the BAA stretches along the Severn? John and Ian OAP's
Hi John, Will do - I’m planning a video on accessible stretches at some point in the next few months (likely next close season) - Hopefully that will help also 👍🎣
@RobsAngling Thanks Rob that's great news! My mate Ian who like me has been around for 70+ years and returned to fishing in retirement, are finding that pegs we once saw as a challenge are completely out of bounds, we attempted the Brewery stretch which after viewing your excellent video and firstly putting our cash in the pub box found that we were unable to get down to the pegs due to our mobility issues. After a ride to a couple of BAA venues we found a suitable one where parking behind our chosen pegs was possible & access to the Severn easier. Take care & keep up the good work 👍 from John & Ian
We at Bostin not really fished this stretch that much, we should really give it a go. We been down the BAA on the opposite bank, very few pegs these days sadly.
Great videos rob with good information 5* one question though my van is 2.2 meters in height and now I’m wondering am I going to fit , what’s your thoughts , thanks.
Have you fished baa coombys farm aka kinlet and Stanley waters, I've seen a few decent double figure barbel pictures recently on social media from that section
Hi John, no it’s not necessary for a river rig. My preference is a stiff fluorocarbon which will kick away from your feeder and is heavy enough to sit nicely on the bottom without being seen 👍

Glad you like them! 🎣👍
A wonderful peg for the float, lots of flow and a good depth.
I don't fish the Severn but enjoy watching your videos. The access information is excellent and a real help to other anglers. Keep up the good work.
Glad you like them - Thanks for watching 👍🎣
Once again Rob a very good informative video, thanks again for doing what you do.👍🎣🎣🎣
Thanks Mark.. Appreciate the kind words again 👍🎣
Another fantastic video Rob. Thanks for sharing
Thanks Stuart 👍

Thanks! It was tough at the time - Conditions a lot different now! 👍🎣
Great video Rob…..I absolutely love that stretch, holds a lot of sentimental memories 👍
Thanks - Glad you liked the vid.. It’s a great stretch for sure 👌👍
Great video as per Rob. I've been eyeballing this stretch for a while in the BAA book and you've done the hard work for me. Cheers mate.
Good luck - Hopefully you have a few 🎣

Hopefully you had a few - The banks are ultra slippery now the rain has finally arrived! Good luck on the bank yourself 👍🎣
Thanks Rob. Excellent as always. I'll give that a go next week when I'm up. It looks like it's going to be tough going! Still, I'll enjoy myself whatever. Cheers. 👍
Blimey Rob,
If that hooklink is 4 ' you must be tiny,😂😂😂 !!
Thanks for all your hard work making these videos, much appreciated.

Thanks! - Will do.. There are a lot of boulders in that peg. How did you get on yourself..? 👍🎣
Great vlog as always Rob - many thanks. We share something in common…lost tackle in Fladbury weir! Looking forward to your next vid.
I think they’ll be a small army to us who’ve done that! 🤣👍🎣
Great vid, been looking to fish here great views of parking and walking route 👍🏻
Thanks Jordan - Best of luck 👍🎣
Glad that you noted that the section immediately upstream of the bridge is NOT BAA water.....

Thanks Tony.. Great to hear that’s the case. Good luck with your own fishing - Plenty more videos to follow 👍
🎣Always enjoy your videos, mainly because the Severn is my local river.
Rowley Angling being my club at Coalport, crackin place.
Thanks! Glad you like them - Hope you’re catching a few yourself 👍🎣
Cracking Rob 🎣🎣🎣
Thanks very much 👍🎣
Nice work 🎉

It’s worth a visit - There is plenty of choice at this stretch 👍🎣
Great videos rob with good information 5* one question though my van is 2.2 meters in height and now I’m wondering am I going to fit , what’s your thoughts , thanks.
Hi James, that will be very close. You’ll need to visit to check that - If it doesn’t fit, there is some lay-by parking close by as a backup. 👍
@@RobsAngling nice one rob keep the videos coming next season , some good info in them what where all learning from too stuff 👍
Good stretch but getting to the pegs is lethal in the rain
That’s very true! It’s the time of year now to be very careful 😬🎣
Have you fished baa coombys farm aka kinlet and Stanley waters, I've seen a few decent double figure barbel pictures recently on social media from that section
Hi Kris, It’s been 18 months or so since I’ve been on that stretch - I do want to get on there again soon. Let me know how you get on… Good luck 👍🎣
Going next week, will keep you updated
Thanks, will do! 👍🎣
@@RobsAngling Thank you very mutch... have a nice Start of the week.... see you….
He got my rods.
Can’t beat them for great value 👍🎣
is it advisable to put any weight on the hook length to hold it down on the river bed any better ??? 🤔🤔
