River Foss fishing got out to his river at 9pm night before and started at midnight. These two lads where dedicated for sure. I went to my local river (river dearne) at 5.15pm after work fished until 9 got 5 bream out
Hi Rob, is Sydney avenue a day ticket? if not how do I go about fishing it? cheers Jimmy, Fished the brewery inn on Sunday after watching your video, first ever barble fishing trip, Caught two little barble and a chub😊 .
Hi James, yes it’s a day ticket stretch. You need to buy your day ticket online at the Shrewsbury Town Fisheries website before you start fishing - There are no day tickets available on the bank 👍
I've watched this video a couple of times now, a good watch .. is that peg easy to access (dodgy hip) and are there other pegs options there that are similar access ?
Thanks very much. You can park close to that peg - It’s about 20-30 metres walk from car to the waters edge. You can park directly behind most of the other pegs along the stretch so they’re very easy to access. Hope this helps. 👍🎣
Very good video in difficult circumstances. Your enthusiasm and joy for what you are doing shines through, keep up the good work. Just one question on that flow were you using a 3 or a 4 oz lead.
I've not fished the the seven in years. Is Sydney avenue still a day ticket or club water now ? I fish the trent on the derby railway ticket wouldn't mind trying the seven this season. Great video. 👍 🎣
Thanks Darren - Sydney Avenue is on the Shrewsbury Town Fisheries club however you can buy day tickets to fish it.. They’ve got a decent website giving all the info 👍
Hi, you can park behind/close to all pegs. The level will be very low however it's (finally) started raining today so some colour might start returning. Bring a few bait options as it's not been fishing easy due to the conditions/heat.. Good luck.
Hi Craig, you need either a day ticket or an annual ticket to fish this stretch. They can be purchased at the Shrewsbury Town Fisheries website. Hope this helps. 👍
Your lucky to get that swim to yourself Ever time I fish it is always full with swimmers canoes dogs swimming dose my head it We got to pay to use the river everybody else just jumps in
Excellent presentation and full of good information Rob! 👍

Thanks Rob. great videos . Just wondering if you normally use the Korum run and bolt kit in the 'run' mode or do you prefer using it bolt style?
Thanks Paul.. I prefer it free running myself.. I’m sure it works just as well in either form though. 👍

@@RobsAngling thank you for the info 👍
rob what braid do you use for main line thanks
Hi Alan, I’m using ESP Synchro Mono 12lb.. Hope this helps. 🎣👍
Would I get away with a 2oz feeder with 12lb line
Absolutely with the current levels - That will be fine in the majority of swims. 👍🎣
Your lucky to get that swim to yourself
Ever time I fish it is always full with swimmers canoes dogs swimming dose my head it
We got to pay to use the river everybody else just jumps in
The dogs were piling in by the time I was leaving.. It’s def a risk with that peg for sure.
