When I was a kid, that was the number one thing I learned about adults and children. Grown ups take everything about kids with a grain of salt, they don’t fully respect it or give it the same value they would to other adults. Kids notice that kind of thing
The reason her vocabulary is so developed is because dad and mom have been having these conversations with her for years now. It's some of the best language building you can do and amazing bonding.
Yes! I like that he’s actually having a conversation with his daughter, listening, and allowing her to express her opinions. He has the perfect balance of having the conversation in the realm of unicorns and mermaids as to not take away that childlike veil of magic but still keeping the conversation grounded and encouraging discussions on the topic. I hate when parents baby talk their kids, at any age, or don’t listen to what their kids have to say.
there’s no cougan laws for youtube kids. they don’t have to give her any money from these millions. kids who have grown up out of youtube mostly regret it. maybe y’all shouldn’t support this. just saying.
He speaks to her using motivational interviewing, OARS: Open-ended questions, affirming (validation, praise), reflective listening (repeating back) and summarize. Whether he intentionally studied it or is a natural, it's considered one of the best communication styles to interact with children. It's a wonderful thing for parents to study.
I'm always asking my little brother if he knows what the word he just said means and he almost always goes "yeah! It was in __(name a kid's show)__ ". Kids are such sponges
They just speak with her so much. It is actually really sad how many parents don’t speak with their children like they do. A lot of people get annoyed and frustrated any time a child starts speaking and expressing themselves and it makes kids shut down, makes them embarrassed and stunts their social/speech development.
I was amazed not only at her vocabulary but also the way she speaks SO FLUENTLY! No pause to "look" for words.. it's all there.. in her mind.. Amazingly gorgeous..!! God Bless you 🙏♥️
It's always amazing when our children use words that we didn't realize they know, big words, and they use it perfectly and are able to explain its meaning. It always blows me away!!!
If we wanna be technical it wasnt correct use, a mirage is caused by layers of air at different temperatures and densities, for example those ripples on pavement, usually at sea or deserts or pavements. Since its a physical thing, its very hard for it to happen to look like a mermaid. Mirage also can be for example "buying a house in this economy is just a mirage" or something like that. What she shouldve said was hallucination or even illusion. We all did understand what it meant and it is often used in that way despite its actual meaning. Undoubtably still impressive but lets not call it perfect
@@Latelacia Mirage has been figuratively used to mean illusion for some time now. Because the most common scenario (or trope) is the one you described giving the illusion of water, especially in a hot arid place like a desert.
@@delinquents212 But thats a "correct" use, a mirage can look like a pool of water, a mirage is an actual physical thing where light changes directions due to the varying air density thats caused by heat so it could look like water, but it couldnt look like a mermaid for example, thats just way too complex and specific, that would be a hallucination 9/10

You got young people maturing and older people learning to not take life so seriously. These videos make me confirm my theory more and more and i can only confirm when I become a parent myself.

you give her so much opportunity to thrive❤ you speak to her so intellectually and not like she’s a baby and it has given her the ability to be so well spoken
