I really search a long time for a Video with the sram code ult. stealth. Thank you so much for your experiences. It's good to hear that these breaks are crisp. Kind regards from Germany 🤘
Is there that much of a difference between Code RSC and Code Stealth? I swapped my XTs to Code Silver Stealth, and think they’re incredible compared to XT. I dont understand the SRAM hate after using the Stealths. I was thinking about trading the XT with some Codes (probably just Code R or RS if lucky) to put on another bike replacing M6100s, to keep maintenance the same. I was thinking they’d still be good after using the Stealths
The new sram mavens are out of this world, definitely worth a try. Ive had the resin compound with 200/180 and have no complaints on my trail bike and im 220lbs. Worth a try especially if you’re coming around to the codes!
Hey Spencer, looking for some advice. If you had to pick between these code stealth ultimates or Shimano XTR’s for your enduro bike which are you going with?
I was a fan of the code rsc (im around 75kg) but I also notice the lacking precision sometimes with them. But after that review I think im gonna give the code ultimates a go. Thanks for the Review!
Do these ultimtes have more power then the bronze stealth ones ? Or do they just have more adjustments and are less heavy ? kind regards from Germany !
Yo can I ask what handlebars are those? I'm interested in buying integrated handlebar and stem for my XC hardtail but I can't find the stem length I want and I think what you have right now is the right size hopefully
I’m 190lbs. The code RSC were decent feeling but I wasn’t a fan of messing with DOT fluid or the maintenance required. Still a big fan of Shimano 4 pistons with metallic pads.
Aaaand you to every one I know, including my own experience, one set of shimanos I ordered was allready leaking in the box🥲 also small break from riding and they will leak from the pistons to your brake pads..

I think there is a pretty significant difference between the old Codes and new, yes.

I'm wondering why there are absolutely no videos in youtube about Silver and bronze versions?
I touch on the Maven bronze in my Stumpjumper review, but I'm not sure I've seen too many lower level codes yet!

I'd go with XTR's. I really like mine, I prefer the Shimano Lever angle, feel, and bite. But the Stealths are way better than the old Code RSC brakes.

Just curious if you rode xt brakes how would you say they compare to sram ultimate power wise.
Yes, I love Shimano brakes. I’m my opinion, outside of the occasional floating bite point they feel better in almost every way.

@@Innovativeinsight12 I think just more adjustments
are you the guy from FREEHUB magazine? LOL
Yep!

Check with your local Scott dealer. They’re $$$ but they do look cool.
Hey, they’re Syncros Hixon iC Carbon bars

Sram brakes are basically maintenance free, friends constantly bleeding shitmanos😂
You have the opposite of experience of everyone I know.
