You seem content with the front and rear as designed, whereas the few other people who have reviewed the Shredda seem to think the rear for both ends would be suitable. What are your thoughts on the front? Only worthy for extreme conditions, or would you run it all the time with the rear in back? Thanks for checking these tires out-I’ve been waiting for a thorough review of the shreddas since they came out.
I have the radial MM (trail, ultra soft) on the front of my dreadnought and the shredda on the front of my repeater. Big Betty and Albert on the rear respectively. The radial MM has been fun - I'm not skilled enough to pick apart the details like Spencer but it feels good. All the usual magic mary goodness with what feels like more grip.
I just put shredda rears on the front and rear of my ebike and was blown away. Right now by me is a mix of wet/snow/mud/frozen and it just gripped everywhere. Before I knew it inwas doing top speeds as if it was regular beautiful weather day and scaring myself haha.
Currently getting the Magic mary radials on my v10 and on the front of my heckler SL, gonna stick with the albert in the back for a bit, I liked them for loose over hard but anything loose on top it wanted to drift a bit. Hopefully the magic marys are epic.
Yes! My first two rides with the Radial Magic Mary's with trail casings were super promising in greasy conditions. I think that tire is going to be a go to.
No brakes on roots, no matter how much you want to, I'm certainly sure you know that, I certainly know that but still have to fight my urge to do it. What are they like on wet roots vs wet slanted slab like rocks?

That's a good questions since I've only ridden it in extreme wet conditions so far. It's such a substantial casing that I'd have a hard time believing it wouldn't be decent on hardpack too. I do imagine you need a certain amount of weight pressing the tire into the ground to make it necessary. I'll follow up!
Happy holidays glad you got some shreddas to try finally.
🤟🏻
Really great tires!
Indeed!

I’m really stoked on the shredda rear as a front. Super curious about the new Mary. Radial casings are Neato
I’ve ridden the radial Marys twice now and that are amazing on the trail bike. 👌🏼

I’m running the radial Mary’s on my Levo. Extremely happy with them.

The grip is immense 👌🏼
The bike color is 🤘
Agreed! 🔥 🔵
Do PNW riders envy desert riders? Because man do I envy that you have trails like this. This is what I picture when I think mountain biking.
You rock. Thanks for the awesome content. What brake pads do you like most for the XTs XTRs? Cheers
Thanks! 🙏🏻 I’m just trying the Galfer purple rear/green front combo and they’re fantastic! Best yet I’d say.
@SpencerAstraPOV what a coincidence! I have them both in a cart, LOL. I'll go for it! 😁

Where is this trail? Would love to ride that!
Hey sorry, I can’t say the name/location of this one.
@supermolehunter1 if you move to this particular part of the pnw I'm sure someone would show you the trail eventually

Pretty good on both. They really hooked up to rocks 🪨
