Im 43 & was a junior in High School in 1996 & would watch SNL like my life depended on it bc im from a very rural town in S.C. & all the artists i loved never came any closer than Atlanta or Charlotte (& my parents were far too broke to buy me tix anyway!) I actually recorded that Tori performance on VHS & quite possibly still have it kicking around at my parents house somewhere. God, I recorded so much awesome stuff… Green Day playing Geek Stink in like ‘94, Pearl Jam playing Daughter, which I believe was their first performance on SNL after Cobain died, Hole playing Doll Parts which was INCREDIBLE….Alanis Morrissette playing SNL for the first time, LIVE, Counting Crows, Bush…so many I recorded like the nerd I was!! I hope you guys got to see her on this tour…she was amazing (got to see the Atlanta show!) When I visit my parents again, I will search for this VHS tape & if I find it, try getting it on YT & will be sure to come back to let you know! Take care!

I don’t think it’s necessarily a vocal thing, tori Amos isa great artist and I’m a huge fan. But the thing is there’s something kinda missing, a feeling, whatever it is.
