This tour was ahead of its time. I like the way that she performed these two songs and this era was so beautiful. She was in her 40´s and the dance routine during the "Sky Fits Heaven" song was complicated. Madonna has been in great shape for the majority of her career when she is on tour. She has the ability to do complicated dance routines that even pop stars half her age struggles to do. :)

madonna is known to be a perfectionist, and this tour showed exactly why, she surrounded herself with the very best team, no other popstar was in control of every aspect of their shows like her, is just almost robot-like , her ability and precision, imagine the pressure to work with someone like that.

when this concert debuted on HBO back in the day, I went to view it with a gang at a friend's place in SF. In and around the Mission and Castro neighborhoods, people literally had their windows decorated with madonna stuff. Like it was a national holiday or something that day. I smiled. We had a good audio set up and one of my older friends kept saying things like. "what's wrong with the sound? it's sounds all fuzzy and distorted?" the rest of us chuckled.
Too bad they cut out that fake "shooting" part, that was the random, weird yet peak ending to that storyline of the show, before taking the audience into the Wild West section!
