I just wanted to say thank you to each and everyone who made farming what it is today from the hard times to the best of times because farmer's are the back bone of the United States from steam to diesel powered tractor's from international to CaseIH are still number one back to today thank you for everything and that putting food on everyone table 👍👍👍

Holy cow!! What a great film! This is so relevant today. So many people think everything just magically shows up on the store shelves. I just can’t get over how good this was. Thank J and L for preserving this and showing it.

A good history video from another great company lost to economic changes. A nice tribute to the American farmer.

    Love the classic internationals
Man lord I wish and long for the old days the golden age of ag when tractors were these big iron giants that dealers cared about quality over quantity and accountants didn’t run companies

Ohh hard to believe that 4 years after this video IH would be no more probably the best time in farming the 60s 70s and 80s

My grandpa did very very well in the late 60's and 70's, the 80's nearly destroyed the family farm

Anyone remember movie that played at the International Harvester Farm exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago? I remember it followed a farmer and his son in various eras of farming.

Every US politician needs to watch this video, because they are going to put us into another farm crisis like the early 80's.

Interesting vid👍for Australians by 90’s wool market had drop out of its ass, wheat prices were low, reduce funding in ag colleges so can we learn from? Innovation in techniques, seed technology, farm machinery/equipment with open markets with years of drought change way farm n sell our produces. Today wool market holds steady with better quality personal wear wheat prices is up but good yields doesn’t have knock on effect in price. In 2002 drought we had more rain then 3 years of last drought but had better yields. Future will still need I.T. but I believe we will need skill labour which we are struggling in Agriculture. For tractor manufacturing will need to change but at sustainable cost for framers.

Dirty little secret: Increasing plant yields also stem from increased CO2 in the atmosphere.
