Saw them numerous times at Zeppelins (RIP/Demolished) in Fat City in Metairie, LA. They were an anomaly of raw talent. Played Foosball with them and shared pitchers of cheap beer and a crew of really humble nice guys. I still blast their music to this day for the world to hear. I also own the original long sleeve red shirt "Cheap Vodka" that had the typo of the word "Blasphemy" missing the "h", Legalize Freedom on the sleeve & on the back it reads "Ingredients: We're meat and that's it so let's f*ck it" from the first run f*ck up batch of merch. Paid $17 bucks for it and it hangs in my closet and looks just as new as the day I got it. Priceless to me now.
Dont ever sell it please. Youre fortunate enough to own a piece of history, one only you can say you have. No amount of money can recreate what youve got there.

It's because Dax has a great sense of a catchy poppy melody. He could've made a lot of catchy songs if he wanted but I love that Acid Bath switches between singable melodies and deep screams seamlessly

Nobody did it like these guys. I'm now in my 40s, been smashing my face for at least 30 years and there just isn't anything else like Acid Bath. Kills me I never had a chance to see them live. Dax has been on some weird shit for ages. I saw him once but it most definitely wasn't Acid Bath. May they forever drench the annuls of metal in blood!
Nah, they are much better, heavier than Pantera. The way they changed between many genres, tempos, and styles made them very unique, even in such a niche genre that is sludge. A real underground band. Also their lyrics could put bands like Cannibal Corpse in shame. Dark, sick, but poetic. This band simply had it all, and it's perhaps the best extreme metal band of all time.
Call me crazy but they were and still are the best Stoner/Sludge Metal band out there. But how could you catagorize such an influential band as well? They did their own thing and they did it so fucking well.

“Let the blackness roll on” .. I think that’s why

Best underground band of ALL TIME !
Sammy’s scream at the intro brings me life. Also I want to highly recommend Goatwhores new album.
Im not even a big metal fan but when i hear this song something just hits. Incredible

there needs to be a website made just for acid bath, and these underground (for the most part) clips. Or like a discord server just filled with fans.
There was a discord server but it was deleted… it’s a trash app…. Having the stuff on this channel organized is fine for me
@@acidbatharchive I like how its here too, I'm just tired of all the videos being take down of acid bath

venus blue too imo
@@dsiii98honestly a good song but I wouldn’t say it’s their best, at least for me yk?
All their songs are good.. unique band if you ask me❤

Back again because I can NEVER get enough of the undisputed KINGS of the underground !
It's crazy to think these legendary dudes played in my home state way back when. Nebraska don't get good visits like that anymore.

25 years is a pantera song (this is just my interpretation of the original comment)

What string size did you like to use for c standard?
For guitar, most common seems to be 12-56. 13-56 and 12-52 are also common. For bass, 115s and 125s are common
Pretty sure in the acid bath days they used 13-56, but Sammy uses Dadarrio 12-60s now
