Best show ever, the end of it is an end of an era. Love the video, love the spirit of the song congruant to the show. Despite evil, loss, pain and mistakes, we can and will be the best of who we are.
this has been the only show/movie ive ever seen that so greatly depicted that feeling of the ghosts of your past. i grew up in funerals and wakes man. i've lost a lot of people and a lot of close ones. some of them, even when i was younger. it always felt like some of them communicated or followed. im 30s now and still have these feelings. i'm not so into paranormal stuff but just, that feeling of your past following you. that feeling i've never found so better expressed than in this show. the whole having conversations with your past. somedays, well, somedays you do.
This is the end sequence to the series pilot. A little way into the start of the episode, Tommy notices a "hit list" on the board and asks Lou what it is. Lou explains that Billy is going in for a colonoscopy and if it's bad, then he's going to take out the people on the list before he dies. Off memory it has Liza Minelli and a few other celebrities on it. In this clip, Mike answers the phone and then we see Billy take the call. It cuts away to Billy removing the "hit list" implying Billy has cancer. Billy is only in Ep 1 of Season 1 if my memory is correct. I also remember reading he is or was an actual fire fighter in the FDNY (the man who plays Billy).
Best show ever, it has you laughing one minute and crying the next
Was written and done so well, my all time favorite show, influenced me a lot and helped me achieve my goals of becoming a firefighter and emt
@@newb4life11 That's awesome 15. Good for you. God speed.
Easily one of my favourite ends to any episode of TV. Perfectly shows how broken and haunted Tommy feels.
This was perhaps the best and by far the most memorable rescue me montage. One of the best scenes of the show.
First episode too. Great songs at the end of great episodes make it so memorable

Great Video!! Best show on tv hands down!
name of the song is DON'T PANIC by Coldplay
Really great show, and music too. Two minutes of this show with nice music can give better message than whole movie (if it is stupid)
Best Coldplay clip ever

Don’t panic
