    Thanks for vids. I'm having an issue with my 2 vypers... No matter how I set it to 275 nozzle, it defaults back to 260. I've tried every thing I can think think of, cura settings, firmware, octoprint and octodash settings. A few months ago, 1 of them printed and held 300 just fine, but idk why it doesn't any more, IDT I updated the firmware on that one, but cura settings have changed. Any help would be much appreciated!

    Thanks, similar problems here with the SD cards. Had to use smaller size (4GB) to get it updated. readme file is wrong indeed on the screen update procedure.

    The SD card reader on my Vyper is broken. I have to push the card to be detected.. Is there any way I can replace it? or I need to replace the whole mainboard...?

    Updated my brand new one to 2.4.5 and since then when I click on auto leveling the screen stays on it flickering super fast and doing nothing.
    edit: I had to download a third party tool to FAT32, 4096Bytes my 32gb microSD card. After putting the screen folder onto it, the update worked like in your video for the screen. After the start sound at the end I turned it off and removed the microSDcard. Then I turned it on and auto leveling worked again for me!
    Thanks to your video I was able to find out what the problem was, many thanks!

      Windows can do that just fine, problem is I tried with a 32Gb SDCard.

    I have a question for you, I’m having trouble getting my vyper to perform Cura pause at height scripts or filament changes. It’ll do the pause and move the printer head but the screen won’t continue to allow me to continue the print. What do I need to do?

    • @renaissancelaboratories5645
      @renaissancelaboratories5645  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If that's giving you trouble, you may want to use an additional software like OctoPrint to manage the printing. Lots of people use that for paused timelapse printing and filament color changes. Best of luck!

    I run Klipper on my Vyper; this way only the Anycubic logo is visible so I'd like to replace it to a custom picture at least. Can it be simply done by modifying the image files in the DWIN_SET folder?
    I've tried it, and changed some pictures. Made the firmware update according to your video, got "SD Card process.... END!" message too on the blue screen (no beeping), but after turning off and on, it still shows the original picture... I have only 16GB microSD card, can it be a problem? Any help is appreciated, thank you in advance!

    • @renaissancelaboratories5645
      @renaissancelaboratories5645  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Marco, When I first built the printer I tried to make sure all cables were flat and not twisted, but other than that I didn't do anything specific. Some people have been rotating the top half around to help with cable control. I have seen several cable management files in Thingiverse that should fit the Vyper (like this: www.thingiverse.com/thing:4346312).
      I've also had my eye on this, for the heated bed cable: www.thingiverse.com/thing:4919531

    • @renaissancelaboratories5645
      @renaissancelaboratories5645  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have a Kingston 2GB microSD, it's older. The brand name shouldn't matter much but the size of the card may be a factor. If you are using Windows, try a free utility called Rufus. It works great for creating bootable flash drives, but is also a solid utility for formatting. I hope it works out!

    • @renaissancelaboratories5645

    If you have to open it to get the Board version - best to do this when you get it… before you assemble……. And make a label on he side - save time down the road.

      That is troubling. You can try contacting AnyCubic support via email, I find them to be responsive. Or, try a different SD card and try the firmware upgrade again. Also, if you can get an older version of the firmware, you can try downgrading.

    Printer not turning on after MicroSD inserted in screen. Whats wrong?
    MicroSD 16gb, formated as FAT32 - 4096Bytes, DWIN_SET folder copied.

    My firmware updated, but my screen will not. I get a blue screen that populates all of the text instantly, instead of slowly like yours did as it downloaded the files. This makes me think it's not actually downloading anything. It has the DWIN_SET folder on it and should be formatted correctly. I am so lost. If you can help at all please let me know.
