What is overwatch?: Well overwatch is Blizzards new take on the fps genre. In this game you choose a hero or "Class" to take on enemies, push payloads, and take control points. The point of the game is to beat the other team over and it is indeed a whole bunch of fun to play. The game includes 24 heroes so far and Is a blast to play. In this video I mostly go over playing it in a commentary type of manner, and these types of videos will usually be overwatch live commentaries or overwatch group commentaries. He's also got 52% weapon accuracy which is not typical. Notice his aim adjustments after blinking: it takes incredible spatial awareness to do this and be accurate.
Yeah, no offense. You sort of repeated yourself; a lot. "Poke, play it safe."
Let's give some actual tips.
1. Don't spam your blinks, these are your lifeline. Always try to have two up, or one with the second on the way. A Tracer without blinks is a dead Tracer.
2. Obvious one here, ALWAYS know the timer on your recall. I see a lot of Tracers pop this far too early, and then in a situation where they need it; not have it.
3. You can dish out a good amount of damage, quickly. But, despite having a one second reload. Her low health makes that second crucial. You can blink AND reload at the same time, or even recall to fill up a magazine.
4. Don't overestimate your maneuverability. Sure, you can go fast; but that 150hp means most stuff can actually counter you.
5. Back up to #4, yes, most stuff can shut you down. Even healers.
6. Recall does more than heal and refill ammo. It can also
-Negate venom mine damage
-Remove orb of discord
-Remove an enemy pulse bomb
And I'm sure more, the wiki can give you an actual list.
Things it CAN'T save you from.
-Hook of death
-Junkrat traps
7. Someone mentioned enemy team comp awareness in the comments. Which is 100% right. Know the maps, know the team. A lot of players do the same stuff, so you can generally predict where the enemy will go.
Giving you an edge.
8. Unless you're decently close, dont aim for the head always. Aiming for center mass can do wonders. Since you can always blink away, reload and come back.
9. Tracer isn't only for picking off strays. I find myself Bobbing and weaving to the fray, unloading on anything I can do damage on. More often than not, one you have a feel for her you can find yourself killing tanks solo. Tracer can really fit into any team, so long as you're actually decent with her. A bad Tracer is honestly a hindrance to the team. So, really. Think about just how good you are with her, before hitting that instalock.
10. You CAN be shot at Midblink. Due to OW's ping compensation. A Hanzo can actually snipe you as you blink. Or even recall ((this is stated to not happen, but again, ping.))
11. Tracer really isn't for everyone. She has a fairly steep learning curve, mainly due to her health. If someone requests Tracer from you, look at their stats on her. If they are obviously a Tracer main, give it up.
12. Yeah, your ult is pretty iffy. But you get it quickly, so don't be afraid to throw it. Most bombs I've gotten off in a game was i think twelve. Downside to it is, your bomb has an EXTREMELY small effective range; using it in the range showed me that it is MAYBE 7 meters, and that is being generous. Get creative with these throws. Damage a Rhein, and stick the back of his shield. He has to use quick thinking to spin and die to block the bomb from his team.
there are plenty more tips I can give, but even i am still learning after almost 100+ hours into her.
Lignum Yeah, that isn't an actual tip. Actual tips, would be talking about the character and their kits. Giving info on each one.
Namohs And, what soon said is that it is better to scout the zarya shield and pulsebomb her than a roadhog or a rein because you won't always oneshot them, where you will always oneshot zarya
ping compensation? its got nothing to do with ping- its the servers Tick rate cap, every 1 second, anything within a 60th of a tick will happen first, so if a tracer rewinds within the 60th tick while shes shot in the head, even if she rewinds within the 1-60 tickrate, she will die even if she did it before she was shot.
Those were just basic tips, aint going to get u out of plat.
But 1 question, should i focus lucio or mercy? (When i know she dont have rez)

What I do which ik I'm not probably the best tracer but b4 I go in for the supports I always make sure ik where roadhog is. I see a lot of tracers go 4 the supports because there by themselves just to get hooked becuz road was around the corner also I always look at team comp to see who can really kill me and who I can dance around with just a thought

actually i was a lucio main and i switched to tracer, took me ages to fix my aim so i can do both (in case i need to switch) but afterwards i realised lucio really helped me avoid things like hooks and projectiles. The funniest thing ever is when im jumping around mcree as tracer like a lucio

For the #1 Tracer, his pulse bombs are a bit shit. lol.
SerratedCucumber pulse bombs can be rly hard to stick, u have to go in rly quick and u could be at a dodgy angle and on top of tht u have to predict where there going...

You do realize the movement and jukes of other GM players are WAY better than for instance Platinum players, right? The other team KNOWS when Tracer has her ultimate based on their experience and therefore will be looking out for when she uses it, making it extremely difficult to land those pulsebombs, or if you do land them, get kills with them because of bubbles or if it's a tank, Ana nade.
He makes me feel good about my gold pulse bombs.
Hes also shooting from far away instead of sneaking from behind and taking them out.. Honestly hes not that good
