Have you seen Ilya Plotnikov's version of The Electric State? The original images, but lightly animated. Not changing anything, just adding a few little touches to bring them to life. They are haunting! And beautiful.
Game looks well done. Big compliments to the devs and artists. But also to ABG! Such great camerawork. All the small touches like nods and the turning back to the monster don't go unnoticed.
Damn, they nailed pretty much everything - gorgeous game, tense/exploratory atmosphere, keen sense of an alternate and very real version of our world. I feel I know what the various areas smell like. Odd that Ignat doesn't audibly respond in the present, but maybe he doesn't have to, just sends texts with his brain...
“The main area of application of the model is in the field of social work, upbringing and education.” 0:49 I’d like to disagree. It’s obviously in the field of mass-manufacturing and deep implantation of childhood trauma.
yeah. the average person would probably avoid it stringently, like anyone with a functioning hindbrain would. I'd also expect an increase in complaints of automatonophobia.
For anyone wondering: game is being developed by the same guy, who brought us 35 mm. Can't say I liked 35, but this one looks promising, having obvious leap of quality from visuals and sounds to story and the gameplay.
1:02 I got roasted by a robot in front of the whole class. Suddenly the prospect of jumping out of that second story window to my de ath looks very appealing.
@@AlphaBetaGamer Yeah, maybe that's the one I'm thinking of. It was Russian too, right? The Wish Machine...was that based on the Russian movie Stalker? Anyway, this game looks very interesting.
The game's pretty- but combat's clunky, the game supports keyboard and mouse but only shows controller inputs, and has very few visual "tells" about what is interactable and what isn't-when you have a drab, colorless environment in some cases and most things you can interact with blink- but then so do all the window dressing "technology" on the walls. Pulling a bit from Deus Ex and having a small pop up over each thing at a glance in the "world" at a distance wouldn't hurt. The chase from the robot in the apartment was full of trial and error for me- having to run up and then down the stairs- and just avoiding the locker entirely as it always sees you hide in it. Lorewise, and the nature of our "memories" I wonder if our character only appears to be human- in fact, I wonder if we were killed or horribly maimed by the robot and like "grandma" were put into a new body- or our brain was encoded, scooped out, and swapped for a mechanical one, and why we can talk without speaking is because we're digitally communicating with the NI or AI guiding us- perhaps another brain encoded one. Things hit the fan shortly after our "upgrade" and he was forced to take us and hide in a bunker- either because the sirens were blaring due to this "rainbow" or because he had driven off with us....
I love Stalenhag's work it's so beautiful

My pleasure! It's a fantastic game. The world that you've built is beautiful and fascinating. Really looking forward to seeing more! :)
Oh, so this is from the same dev who made 35mm and the light. I like this new game. Can't go wrong with mix of russia\ ussr, doomer music and robots.
They made the light? I was wondering where they went! The environments in that game were gorgeous!
@@poppycola1135 most of game made by one person - Sergey Noskov

This is WILD. Artful and thrilling- I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this one. Keep up the great work!

Thank you very much! Glad you like the vids. Much appreciated. :)

@AlphaBetaGamer I watched probably 70% so yeah I hope you will get more attention
Pretty cool for a solo project

This disc with 35mm game is nice detail about previous game from this dev :З
Вдохновлено работами Симона Столенхага, а так похоже на картинки из СССР
Haha the little dance in front of the Christmas tree 😂
First few minutes made me think this was an atomic heart dlc.
Straight out of a nightmare from hell! 31:04 I was hoping this was a demo cause it needs to be longer.
The flying whale is very Half-Life, love to see it
Why can't this be how the upcoming movie looks...
they really made this game
That robot teacher reminded me from the same one in tales of the loop. The amazon prime series not the art book.
1:41 This is a Volga, right?
Yes, gaz-21
Looks incredible, great find abg
The last time I was this early rainbows didn’t exist yet
This project looks really cool!

Yeah, that mistress robot teacher is pretty terrifying. Some people would pay to be disciplined by her though! :)
@@AlphaBetaGamer That would probably also be me. I'd jump out of the window so no one would see I got aroused.
And that's when he found an AKM and a full tank of full-metal jacket ammunition....
Love that Russian doomer music. Perfect.
perfect graphics, camera control and much more - amazing!
didnt expect it to speak in my language
Did anyone else see the scp logo behind the bot in the beginning?
Stålenhag has some fantastic art books tbh
Loved the demo!
Wonderful! Magnificent!
This looks amazing.
Ngl, this game reminds me a lot of another russian game - Atomic Heart
Yeah. Early trailers of Atomic heart looks really similar to this game. I would say that atomic heart should be like this.
atomic heart but the robots are scary instead of sexy

I'm not a fan of the VHS filter, but other than that the game looks great.
What are you talking about? Didn't see any filter at all.
Did you play an earlier version of this game a while ago? It looks familiar.
No, this is the first time I've covered it. It reminds me a little of The Wish Machine though (I linked it at the end of the video).

When atomic heart failed to restrain the robots :
Too spoopy for me

Pov: Indie Atomic Heart
There was another game whose art and design are similar to Stalenhag, it was Generation Zero and it was a fucking disappointment
So this is a Russian atomic heart?
Atomic Heart IS Russian. And so is this, yes.
Atomic Heart?
