Fun fact from a former Soarin’ CM about Soarin’: ask for GATE B NOT CONCOURSE B. All of the concourses are the same, the gates are the different sections within the theaters. The concourses are just 3 identical theaters. 😊
"Shots of Jagermeister if you want to hate yourself." HA HA HA!!! 21-year-old me needed to hear this. Whomever wrote that line of the script deserves a raise.
Just came back from Epcot a month ago and here is what I noted: 1) Don’t bother coming a rope drop. The lines taper off around lunchtime to the afternoon. 2) WEAR CONFORTABLE SHOES DANG IT! No flips, no crocs, wear shoes meant for walking/standing 3) The Hibachi restaurant is a great p’ace to get your Veggies. The tempura is light fried and the meal itself has zucchini. Highly recommend. 4) Weekdays
On the topic of shoes, don’t wear brand-new ones. Wear comfortable, supportive shoes that your feet are used to and aren’t getting worn out. And good socks - hiking socks are good, and bring an extra pair. You might want to change mid-day. Also, get into a daily walking routine before you leave home. You’ll walk around 25,000 to 30,000 steps a day, so acclimate your legs and feet ahead of time.
yknow i wish i could wear comfortable shoes but i get really self conscious. i love to dress up and wear extravagant clothing and if i dont look like that at all times, even on vacation, i feel horribly under dressed. i always hate looking like a bum/tourist lol. there have been times where ive stomped around disney world in 6 inch platform boots. did it hurt? yes. was it a dumb decision? yes. did i feel like the hottest person in the park though? yep and thats worth it.
I remember when that interactive showcase game was Phineas and ferb themed. Or heck when it was Kim possible and they gave you special kimunicators for it you returned before you left you didn’t need your own device if you didn’t have one
Just in case anyone is planning on catching the Spaceship Earth light shows, they run every 10 minutes (on the tens). There are actually four different ones running right now for the Festival of the Arts! 👍
@@DawnEdwards6267I honestly like epcot much more than animal kingdom and magic kingdom I can’t really decide between Hollywood and epcot but with rocken roller coaster being closed at the moment epcots my favorite park.
Instead of an attraction, I can see Wall-E just roaming around EPCOT, I remember a couple of those trashcans that were automated, so they could just have a cast member walk alongside him as a meet and greet, also bring an external battery pack for your phone, you'll need it and it'll help avoid having to find a station to plug in and take out the time of your day.
A clarification on the diving adventure. You do not need a ticket to EPCOT to do that experience only. There is a separate entrance after security but before the gates where you enter and exit. You will need a ticket if you want to enter the park, however. We did it last October and in addition to diving, you get a nice behind the scenes tour.
I remember back in the day, the Epcot water fountains would toss water from one pot to another... looks like the journey of water could be bringing (or keeping) that alive. I really hope so... it was so magical when I was a kid.
Two items. 1. IIII is the traditional way to display 4 on a clock. Likely they chose it since it better fit the architectural time period of the building is located on. 2. BEVERLY IS AWESOME!!! It is the best of the offerings.
Do you think you'll ever do a video on the best places for vegetarians and vegans to eat throughout the parks? I'm really looking forward to my visit in October, especially to Epcott, but I feel like I'll be really limited to what/where I can eat outside my hotel
I love the alcohol products in Germany. 1st my last name is Apple in German so my name is on most of the bottles ( which means I own them.. yeah Disney doesn't fall for that either) lol! But the Brandy filled Chocolate covered Cherries are awesome!
AJ, I don't know who told you that IIII on a clock is a Disney thing, but they were lying. It's called the Clockmaker's 4 and it's origin is unknown, but there are many popular theories. Rolex uses it, many clockmakera use it, you'll see it more often than not.
My Stitch MagicBand+ also glowed Blue and Purple after Flights of Passage, White during and after Soarin, and Red while on the queue for Haunted Mansion
you know, im most exited for the charge it yourself tables in Starbucks, im sucha nerd. Of course im exited for everything else. Last time I was there i was 7 dont remember a thing about Epcot expect for the big Ball.
I ate on a trash can at food and wine. Good to know about where to sit on cosmic rewind to not get sick. We were in the front my husband loved it but said he'd rather have been one back because the ride was so fast and he couldn't keep his eyes open because they were watering so much.
Hi Lauren. Can you elaborate on standard view vs preferred view? The latter is more expensive and we assumed we’d get a better view but you mentioned multiple times that it’s actually not better. What exactly do you mean by that? Thanks so much
Can I go eat at a resort on the skyliner then take it to the back entrance? Is there a way to cheat if you're staying off site to get in that entrance?
As long as you have an EPCOT reservation you can use the back entrance! My husband and I park hopped from Animal Kingdom to EPCOT, but we took the bus to Boardwalk because it was empty, then walked over to EPCOT's back entrance. That way we were able to go immediately to a pavilion for dinner and then fireworks viewing.
Yeah, it's really not cheating though. You can also use it to park hop from Hollywood Studios to Epcot and from Epcot to Hollywood Studios. But in terms of resturants, I do recommend Trattoria al Forno for breakfast. The Boardwalk is also pretty fun to just walk around or people watch.
What is the best boom for the buck for a first timer going to Epcot dinning firework show? It’s my wife’s 50th but to be honest we’re breaking the bank to do this please help????
It depends on what you want to see. The fact is, there is no dining site that gives you a very good place to see the Fireworks show. The best place to be for that show is at the end of the FRONT of the Park - across the water from the American Adventure. These areas fill in rapidly and early but there are places for Handicapped guests if you qualify. Then dining depends on what you want to eat although The Canadian Pavilion Steak House is really really good stuff - though expensive. Need more information - WHen are you going - and how are you going there? (By car or air). Will you have a rental car or your own or not? Where are you planning to stay as well. You CAN put together a less expensive option by staying in the Dolphin or Swan and they are sort of within walking distance to Epcot if you are mobile enough. YOu could also stay at one of the "good neighbor" hotels at Lake Buena Vista to save even more - and from there they are close to outside Food options that are much less expensive than Disney as well as offering Buses to Disney Attractions. Generally I plan to eat only a couple special meals at Disney Restaurants during a trip and eat the rest at less expensive venues either at Disney Springs - in the Hotels themselves - or off Property. Believe me you will be more than Satisfied with the Dolphin or Swan as well - they are really a good value.
@@Thommadura thank you so much for your help. We are planning on going the 23 to magic kingdom and 29 to Epcot. We only have one day and a crusie is in between them. Flying in from CA land of the crazy’s but we love Disney. Don’t know if I need Genie or Genie plus there either. Want to see as much as we can of course. So when she AJ mentioned places to watch the show thru a paid dinning show she said there were from 36-95 so I was wondering there there is a good middle ground to watch the show and save time not waiting for the good spots. We are both short so it doesn’t take much to take away our view. I also have no ide if any festivales are going on. Kinda of a last minute trip my wife wanted to do but we have been traveling so much we are trying to watch what we spend on this one. I will say not knowing the park is exciting but also frustrating since we are clueless. Ever go to Disney I got your back 😀
@@CUTravel1st Right Now I do not know if Disney Plus is worthwhile in Epcot center because of the plethora of closures and construction but If you have only one day - and are good at using smartphones (Make sure you have one no matter what) - then at least you will have a chance to see the best things. Do not go to the Spaceship earth first since that line comes way down later in the afternoon. I assume you are staying at Disney so outside options are off the table. The best restaurant to see the fireworks is the Rose and Crown but it is a separate terrace only for diners but not usually from your Table.
I'm not sure the reason given for the AA clock having number 4 as "IIII" is correct - check out ANY clock with roman numerals and this is how the number is presented. I believe it is a traditional clock/watch thing
Please speak out in support of cast members as Disney refuses to work with the union to give them a living wage. You and your fan base can make a difference in sending a message to Disney that cast members matter.

As a kid, Epcot was the most boring park. Now, at 21 it's in the running to be my favorite (especially with Cosmic Rewind)
I love comparing these tips to what I did at Disney lol
On haunted mansion our magic band pluses were flashing red while waiting and on the ride 3:01

These were great! I hope you make a secret and tips video for each of the other parks?!
IIII is an older way for the Roman numeral 4. It became standardized to IV, but many watches/clocks still use IIII
Watching these so I can plan another Disney trip soon❤️
My wife likes Beverly. Thinks it tastes like the Aperol spritz cocktail that she loves in the summer. Refreshing with a little bite.

I have a question about the a la carte ride lightening lane rides and rider swap. Can you just buy one pass or do both adults have to buy the pass?

I can’t believe they’re allowed to sell Nintendo Merch! Love it❤

I really hope the Moana attraction is open by the time I go in November 🤞🏻🤞🏻
